If you are constantly following me here in Hive, you will be noticing that I am doing multiple stuff and exploring every nook on the creative side. From writing short stories, essays, freewrite, video production, and many more I think I tried it most.
I do believe that using Hive widened my potential in a way that I cannot imagine. I would always tell myself that if I do not have Hive back then I am just stuck in my usual day-to-day accounting job looking at spreadsheets from clock-in to clock-out.
Now, as part of the latest project that I am in I started doing some podcasts talking about anything that comes up in my mind 😁.
Technically those topics will be posted as usual write-ups in my blog however since I felt that I am not speaking in English verbally I felt that I am not that well versed anymore. My wife and I are doing some voice recording and acting and attended webinars to improve the craft but never tried it at all. I myself joined some storytelling classes hoping that one day I can muster up the courage to do such a task. Thus when I got introduced to a podcast episode I told myself why not give it a try?
Until I launched my very own Podcast, entitled Pod Spam | Spamming the Blockchain one Episode at a Time recorded some personal reflection on certain topics that I having a hard time dealing with. Having it posted in Hive definitely helped but somehow I want to reach more audience thus I started learning on posting it on Spotify and other media.
Am I expecting listeners?
Somehow yes? I am hopeful on that but if there's none at least I was able to do and start something that may be in the future I can be proud of.
In 2 months' time I was able to publish 3 episodes.
I can say that I made some decent ones and still there are a LOT of things to improve on the craft that I had chosen to hone this time.
Until last week I got an email from someone that I do not know of.I am suspecting that they captured the email from the other podcast that I shared or maybe from the server itself not 100% sure on that and I got thrilled when I got such.
I talked it over to my wife as somehow I am quite familiar with the application being mentioned. However, from what we know of, the app only caters to karaoke songs and you will upload some songs there ( I haven't used the app but Youtube gave me a gist of what it is all about). Scanning everything it looks like I am being offered some marketing boost if ever that I will be working on some collaborations with them. Again, I stopped and ponder if I should be grabbing the opportunity as I myself isn't that well versed on these types of arrangements.
Did they see something on my content?
That is something that I am not that confident of, as I always think that what I usually do is spam and I just do things whatever I like at my own pace. ( Which is why I love Hive ) but getting more folks to notice me is a good thing right?
Now what is the plan?
As we talk it over - I decided to give it a try, to be more serious on the craft that I am trying to do in the Podcast scene, for sure I cannot compare my works to the ones that I am always listening to to but I may get there. Currently learning more about cleaning the audio files, working with other social media stuff, and marketing the brand. Currently, I am connected to some local podcasters trying to increase my visibility and little by little trying to get them on board here in Hive. ( Because why not right?)
The greatest enemy is yourself
This is what I am always saying nowadays because I tend to be lax on stuff I tend to neglect things that are important and relevant. I hate being serious about something as well as I tend to see through everything once I started it.
Right now, after completing the overdue SALN by Saturday I will be working on some improvements and hopefully, you will be joining my journey there to success!

Congratulations! I'm relatively new here in Hive (kahit isang taon na yung account ko, ilang months pa ngayon lang ako talaga nag-eexplore masyado), and I'm glad to know may mga kapareho akong ang dami-daming dini-discover to explore. Hehe.
Pero tuloy mo yung podcasting. Based on your screenshot, interesting ang mga topics, may niche talaga dyan, at daming magbe-benefit :)
