This is something very interesting to me. I suddenly decided to become a content creator on TikTok. I know that creating content on Web 2 isn't particularly profitable at first, but I can earn a return in the long run and even invite my audience there to Hive.
Before I show you my TikTok account, I want to take you back in time. When TikTok first launched in Turkey, it was a place where people shared funny videos, girls danced, and young people made short films with silly scenarios. Frankly, it was a cringe-worthy place, so I never considered joining. Until a month ago, I hadn't even downloaded TikTok on my phone. Because I didn't think there was quality content there, so I thought, why shouldn't I produce that quality content myself? It was worth a try. I created an account and checked out what kind of content was there. I mostly saw edited TV show clips, soccer goals, etc. Of course, it also depends on how I use TikTok. If you watch different things, you'll probably see completely different things.
After about 3-4 days of checking it out, I was ready to start creating content. I thought about what kind of content to create. It could have been anything. Then I chose what made the most sense to me: creating “Did you know?” style content. So I chose my account username accordingly and got started. My first post was about the origin of the name of Galatasaray, the soccer team I support. It got 349 views. Not bad for 0 followers, right? But it was very amateurish. If you check my profile, you'll see how amateurish I was. After that, I made a video recommending movies people could watch over New Year's. Right after that, I made a video about the origin of the name of Fenerbahçe, my rival team. That video went viral. It didn't get millions of views, but it was watched by about 30,000 people. However, the audience watching the video wasn't the audience I wanted to reach. Because it was content I created as a novice editor, it attracted a more “older” audience. After that, I continued to create different “did you know this?” content. Food, information about countries, etc.
During this process, I continued to research TikTok. What kind of content is being watched? What format should the videos be? Should they be vertical or horizontal? Is using the right tags important? What can I do to get more views on my videos? How can I grow my account faster? How can I edit videos better? I spent days researching the answers to all these questions and learned a lot. Now I can add higher-quality transitions to my videos and adjust everything. I know what kind of tags to use.
Then I thought it might be better to focus my content on one area. So I decided to focus my content on soccer. Specifically, I decided to create content about everything related to Turkish soccer. One night, Galatasaray star Mauro Icardi made a statement, and that was a turning point for me. I made a video about it, and it got 250,000 views! My research showed that if a format works, you should stick with it. The next day, I made another video on the same topic, and it got even more views than the previous one! Of course, that didn't stop me. The next day, I made another video, but this time it didn't get any views... Not surprising, if it were that easy, I would have started making money by sharing the same thing every day. But slowly, I'm building a following. I shared my first piece of content on December 3rd, and in just 16 days, without any help from anyone (except my wife), I have 428 followers. My videos have been liked by a total of 51,000 people and viewed approximately 800,000 times. I don't know how consistent I'll be on this path, but I'll do my best. I'm thinking of changing my channel name soon and doing more football-related stuff.

If I do this now, my videos won't appear in the Explore section, and since I'll be sharing videos in different areas, the followers I have now might unfollow me. In the future, maybe when I reach 10,000 subscribers, I promise you I'll hold a big giveaway here. Of course, I don't want you to get your hopes up too high, but maybe I can send 100 Hive to someone who follows me. This may seem low at these prices, but it will be very valuable when Hive rises.

Hesaba oluşturdum ve ne tarz içeriklerin olduğunu kontrol ettim. Genellikle editlenmiş dizi kesitleri, futbolcu golleri vs gördüm. Tabi ki benim Tiktok'u nasıl kullandığımla da ilgili. Siz başka şeyler izlerseniz karşınıza bambaşka şeyler çıkar muhtemelen.
3-4 günlük bir incelemenin ardından içerik üretmeye başlamaya hazırdım. Ne içeriği üreteceğimi düşündüm. Herhangi bir şey olabilirdi. Sonrasında bana en mantıklı gelen şeyi seçtim. "Bunu biliyor musunuz?" tarzı içerikler üretmek. Bu yüzden hesabımın kullanıcı adını ona göre seçtim ve başladım. İlk gönderim desteklediğim futbol takımı olan Galatasaray'ın adının nereden geldiğiyle ilgiliydi. 349 izlendi. 0 takipçiye göre fena değil ha? Ama çok acemiydi. Zaten profilime girerseniz ne kadar acemi olduğumu görürsünüz. Sonrasında insanlara yılbaşında izleyebilecekleri film önerdiğim bir video hazırladım. Hemen arkasından Fenerbahçe'nin yani benim desteklediğim takımın ezeli rakibinin adının nereden geldiğine dair bir video hazırladım ve bu video viral oldu. Milyonlarca izlenmedi ama yaklaşık 30 bin kişi tarafından izlendi. Ne var ki videoyu izleyen kitle benim ulaşmak istediğim kitle değildi. Acemi editörlüğümle hazırladığım bir içerik olduğu için daha "yaşlı" kitlenin ilgisini çekti. Daha sonra farklı farklı "bunları biliyor musunuz?" içeriği çekmeye devam ettim. Yemekler, ülkelere dair bilgiler vs.
Bu süreçte Tiktok ile ilgili araştırma yapmaya devam ettim. Ne tarz içerikler izleniyor? Videoların formatı ne olmalı? Dikey mi olmalı yatay mı? Doğru etiket kullanımı önemli mi? Ne yaparsam videom daha çok izlenir? Nasıl daha hızlı hesabımı büyütebilirim? Nasıl videoları daha iyi düzenleyebilirim? Bütün bu soruların cevabını günlerce araştırdım ve çok şey öğrendim. Artık videolarıma daha kaliteli geçişler ekleyebiliyorum ve her şeyi ayarlayabiliyorum. Ne tarz etiketler kullanacağımı biliyorum.
Sonrasında içeriklerimi bir alana yoğunlaştırmanın daha iyi olabileceğini düşündüm. Bu yüzden içeriklerimi futbol alanında yoğunlaştırmaya karar verdim. Özellikle de Türk futbolundaki her şey hakkında içerik üretmeye karar verdim. Bir gece Galatasaray'ın yıldızı Mauro Icardi bir açıklama yaptı ve o benim için dönüm noktası oldu. Bu konuda bir video yaptım ve video tam 250 bin izlendi! Araştırmalarım sonucunda bir format tutuyorsa onu sonuna kadar değerlendirmeliydim. Ertesi gün aynı konuda bir video daha yaptım ve o öncekinden bile daha çok izlendi! Tabi ki bu beni durdurmadı, sonraki gün bir video daha yaptım ama bu sefer izlenmedi... Şaşırtıcı değil, bu kadar kolay olsa her gün aynı şeyi paylaşarak para kazanmaya başlardım. Ama yavaş yavaş kendime bir takipçi kitlesi oluşturuyorum. İlk içeriğimi 3 Aralık'ta paylaştım ve toplam 16 günde kimseden yardım almadan(eşim hariç) 428 takipçiye sahibim. Videolarım toplamda 51 bin kişi tarafından beğenildi ve videolarım yaklaşık 800 bin defa izlendi. Bu yolda ne kadar istikrarlı olacağımı bilmiyorum ama elimden geleni yapacağım. Yakında kanalımın adını değiştirmeyi ve daha futbolla ilgili bir şeyler yapmayı düşünüyorum.

Bunu şu anda yaparsam videolarım keşfete düşmeyecektir ve aksine farklı alanlarda video paylaşmaya başladığım için sahip olduğum takipçiler de takipten çıkabilir. İlerleyen süreçte belki 10000 abone olduğumda burada da büyük bir çekiliş yapacağıma dair size söz veriyorum. Tabi kafanızda über bir şeyler oluşsun istemem ama belki beni takip eden bir kişiye 100 Hive gönderebilirim. Bu fiyatlarda göze düşük gelebilir ama Hive yükseldiğinde çok değerli olacaktır.

Its wild after avoiding so much time to finally be part of it jejejej, jk , thats how things are now days, its just a matter of angle, I also think Tiktok is a bit cringe and the app consume lot of resources so Im not a fan of the platform, I would also like to start making some content too specially on other platforms maybe and those 800k views in 16 days is not bad at all specially when you started from zero with no clue how to edit or what tags to use, the Icardi video blowing up at 250k must have felt crazy good. What gets me is how unpredictable the whole thing is, one day you hit big numbers and the next day nothing, like how do you make it constant must be the hard part without creating a character, its like playing the lottery but with video edits instead of tickets. I get why you want to focus on Turkish football stuff since thats what worked but keeping it consistent is the hard part, keep on trucking , thx for sharing.
Thank you very much for your kind comment. Until you gain a certain number of followers on TikTok, you are at the mercy of the algorithm. If your videos are featured and, especially, if they appear in front of the “right” audience, they will get a lot of views. But, for example, if my content appears in front of someone who follows fashion, they won't even watch the second second of the video, so my video won't get any traffic. It's a matter of patience. I'll be creating content there for a few months and see how things go.

Man I am spending less than an hour a day for TikTok and I can say I am not consuming content on TikTok so it’s just that 😂

Man, that sounds ridiculous to me. I've been on Hive for years, and just because I started creating content there, does that mean I'm no longer part of Hive? If you read the post, I mentioned that I could promote Hive there over time. Of course, I need to build my follower base first.
