People find it difficult to stick with it during a downturn. Many people left. Many of the friends I used to interact with left. Some communities are now ghost towns. Support is harder to come by, but those of us who have time know how it works.
I took a few days off. I needed it, mainly for personal and professional reasons. Now, after that almost three-month break, there's a shock, but I've tried to stay active and do my best as always.
What saddens me the most is the lack of integration. The communities I like have lost many users, and support has also decreased. But we have to stay strong and keep building. Eventually, they will come back, or we will have others here. It is a time to build. This past year, I have been able to build a good HP base. I hope to have an encouraging number for next year.
