Navegando en Hive me topé con una publicación que me llamó la atención por una palabra en específico: acróstico.
De adolescente era común hacer acrósticos de nuestros nombres con mis compañeras de clase, pero -al menos yo- desconocía el nombre de esta actividad que solía hacer.
Me llamó la atención y decidí leer el post: Iniciative: Create an Acrostic - Hive
Esta iniciativa invita a crear un acróstico con el nombre de HIVE y lo que representa para ti como usuario. Un acróstico es, segun la RAE:
adj. Dicho de una composición poética constituida por versos cuyas letras iniciales, medias o finales forman un vocablo o una frase. U. t. c. s. m.
m. Pasatiempo que consiste en hallar, a partir de unas definiciones o indicaciones, las palabras que, colocadas en columna, forman con sus iniciales una palabra o frase.
Aunque tengo apenas un mes desde que comencé en Hive, para mi representa un lugar donde puedo desarrollar habilidades, encontrar gente bonita con quien compartir gustos. Es una red social donde abunda la multiculturalidad, la diversidad, el respeto y el talento.
Para mi, Hive, en 4 simples adjetivos es:
Holístico: pues existe pluralidad, en ella habitan muchas comunidades con las cuales identificarte. La plataforma se nutre de las múltiples interacciones que en ella se dan, el todo está en las partes.
Idóneo: un lugar idóneo para expresarnos, para compartir y crecer a través de la escritura.
Versátil: se adapta a los cambios tecnológicos y sociales, permitiéndonos fluir en ella.
Empírico: en esta red social se aprende sobre la marcha, a través de cada escrito y de la observación constante de las comunidades y sus miembros. Aprendemos juntos.

Holistic: because there is plurality, there are many communities to identify with. The platform is nourished by the multiple interactions that take place there, the whole is in the parts.
Ideal: an ideal place to express ourselves, to share and grow through writing.
Versatile: it adapts to technological and social changes, allowing us to flow in it.
Empirical: in this social network we learn as we go, through each writing and the constant observation of the communities and their members. We learn together.
