3 WAYS TO PAINT SWORDS!!!! Magma! Crystalline! Energized!
Duncan zeigt uns hier, wie man auf verschiedene Weisen Schwertklingen bemalen kann, die sich von den üblichen Metallschwertern abheben. Diese Techniken lassen sich relativ einfach auch auf andere Klingen wie Äxte, Speerspitzen und dergleichen übertragen und sind darum vielseitig einsetzbar. Bei allen drei Methoden wird ein guter Anteil an Glazing, also dem Auftragen mehrerer stark verdünnter Farbschichten benutzt.

Here Duncan shows us how to paint sword blades in different ways that stand out drom the usual metal blades. These techniques can also be applied relatively easy to other blades like axes, spearheads and so on an therefore are very versatile. All three methods include a lot of glazing - applying several heavily thinned layers of paint.

Drybrushing Scales + Flames: How to Paint Stormcast Stormdrake Guard
Wer glaubt, Trockenbürsten sei nur ein einfacher Ersatz für bessere Techniken, wird in diesem Tutorial eines Besseren belehrt. Hier können wir sehen, was man aus dieser Technik alles herausholen kann, indem Byron die Bemalung eines Drachen inklusive Reiter vorführt. Es kommen hier Trockenbürst-Techniken auf eine Weise zur Anwendung, die ich so vorher noch nicht auf dem Schirm hatte. Besonders die Flügel sehen absolut genial aus! Abgerundet wird das Video durch einen kurzen Abschnitt zur Farbtheorie und die Bemalung der Flammen und deren Reflektionen auf der Rüstung des Reiters.

Who thinks that drybrushing was only a simple substitute for better techniques will be proven wrong in this tutorial. Here we can see what cool things can be done with this technique while Byron showcases the painting of a dragon including it's rider. Drybrushing techniques I never saw before are applied here. Especially the wings look absolutely great! Also added in the video are small sectiosn about color theory and the painting of the flames and their reflections on the rider's armour.

Painting for The Tabletop? - Consider This
In diesem Video gibt es kein Bemal-Tutorial, sondern ein paar interessante Gedanken und Anregungen dazu, wie die bemalten Miniaturen auf einem Spieltisch wahrgenommen werden. In der Regel gibt es schlechtere Lichtverhältnisse als unter der Lampe beim Bemalen und man sieht die Figuren meist aus einer größeren Entfernung und von oben, wenn sie auf dem Spieltisch platziert werden. Wie schafft man es, dass sie bei diesen Bedingungen gut aussehen und ins Auge springen?

In this video we are not presented a common painting tutorial but some interesting thoughts and inspirations about how the miniatures are perceived on the gaming table. In general there are worse lighting conditions than under the painting lamp and the miniatures are usually seen from above when placed on the table. How do you manage to let them stand out best under these conditions?

Fans der Action-RPGs "Diablo" werden sich über dieses Video freuen. Aus dem Warhammer Age Of Sigmar Charaktermodell Yndastra wird hier nämlich eine Miniatur des Erzengels Tyrael gezaubert. Da hier 3D-Druck und ein VR-Modelliertool inklusvie Software benutzt wird, ist es wohl für die Wenigsten von uns als Tutorial zum Nachahmen geeignet. Weil das Ergebnis aber wirklich sehr cool ist, wollte ich es Euch aber nicht vorhenthalten!

Fans of the action RPG videogame "Diablo" will love this video. Some miniature of the archangel Tyrael is built here converting the Warhammer Age of Sigmar character model Yndastra. 3D printing and some VR modelling tool including the matching software are used here so this video is not suitable for imitating for the most of us. But the result looked to good for withholding this video here!

Make Miniature Plinths from Trash!
Wie ihr vielleicht schon mitbekommen habt, bastle ich gerne Gebäude für Battletech aus Kram, der ansonsten im Müll landen würde. Kujo Painting zeigt uns eine weitere coole Verwendungsmöglichkeit für Plastikmüll: Sockel für Miniaturen und kleine Dioramen! Das Ergebnis braucht sich nicht hinter kommerziellen zu verstecken. Anstatt Milliput würde ich allerdings eine günstige einfache Modelliermasse verwenden, um den Boden zu befüllen.
English Translation
As some of you eventually know I like scratchbuilding structures for Battletech from stuff that would end on the trash pile otherwise. Kujo Painting presents another cool utilization for plastic trash: Plinths for miniatures and small dioramas! The result does not need to hide behind commercial plinths. Instead of milliput though I would use a cheaper simple model clay for filling the bottom.

Retro painting: Dark Angels
Wie der Titel vermuten lässt, werden in diesem Video klassische Dark Angel Space Marines bemalt. Aber nicht nur die Miniaturen stammen aus den 90ern, auch der Bemalstil aus der Zeit wurde nachgeahmt und selbst der Großteil der benutzten Farben ist aus dieser Epoche! Viel Spaß bei dieser Retro Show!
English Translation
As the title implies in this video a bunch of some classic Dark Angel Space Marines are painted. But not only the miniatures are from the nineties, even the painting style from that time was copied and even most of the used colours were produced in that epoch! Have fun watching this retro show!

Beginner friendly MORDHEIM and WARHAMMER Wargaming Terrain! 💀
Den Abschluß bildet diesmal ein Terrain Tutorial. Ein Gebäude für Mortheim wird hier gebastelt und bemalt. Dieses sieht nicht nur schick aus, es wird auch besonderen Wert auf die taktischen Möglichkeiten im Spiel gelegt und dementsprechend die Gestaltung angepasst.
English Translation
The final part this time is a terrain tutorial. Here a building for Mordheim is built and painted. This does not only look great - special emphasis is put into the tactical possibilities on the tableand the construction is adjusted regarding those.
