For a better experience, you may watch the battle direct from the splinterlands official website from the link below.
Link to the match.
THEME: KOBOLD MINER
THEME: KOBOLD MINER
Edition: ALPHA/BETA
Rarity: COMMON
Element: FIRE
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES: Sneak at level 1
The Kobolds of the Burning Lands are skilled at seeking and extracting precious stones from the innards of the planet. Their favorite tools are torches and hammers. Thanks to the extreme pride they take in their mining work, they happily accept their situation of servitude to the Torch - Source.
This monster is sticking with the game from the very beginning, I guess.
This monster is in both alpha and beta.
This is a cool monster with very low mana (2).
Someday before I decided to sell off every fire cards and I sent them in the market too.
Maybe only this card got sold with cooldown timer and then I decided to bring all those cards back and I couldn't bring this one back as it was already sold.
You should understand how much peoples like it after you know the fact that my level 6 Kobold Miner got sold in one day with cooldown time.
Then I never bought it back but after I saw the theme of this week's battle challenge I again bought it and made it level 4.
Stats of KOBOLD MINER:
Now my KOBOLD MINER is in level 4 which offers me 2 melee attack, 2 speed & 4 health with "Sneak" ability.
And it needs 2 mana to play.
- I've created this post sharing a gameplay link of one of my battles using KOBOLD MINER.
- I just finished tagging splinterlands.
- So, to explain my lineup... Why did I use the cards I did? And why in that order?
Yeah about that... In this match; I've played with Fire splinter.
A Brief Info About The Match
The battles mana cap was 21 with the "Equalizer and Up Close & Personal" Rules.
I used Fire splinter for the match while my opponent used Life splinter.
My Lineup.
I had my Cerberus in level 5, Fineas Ragein level 3, Furious Chickenin level 5, Kobold Minerin level 4, Elven Cutthroatin level 5, and Cocatricein level 3.
It was my setup.
And my opponent had his/her cards as Clay Golem (Gold) in level 3, Armorsmith (Gold) in level 5, Parasitic Growth in level 1, Elven Cutthroat in level 1, Feral Spirit (Gold) in level 4.
Let me talk about cards that I used in this battle.
Malric Inferno Rare Fire Summoner - as summoner.
Malric is a unique curiosity in the already diverse Burning Lands. He is a spectre of fire with powerful attacks of his own, but he is also extraordinarily brilliant. Malric has graduated from every Ferexia school, including the prestigious Summun Infuria. He is especially skilled in boosting the attack power of his monsters. Source
My Malric Inferno is in level 5 with the ability of giving all friendly melee attack monsters +1 melee attack and for that all my monsters in this battle got 1 extra melee attack.
It needs 3 mana.

No 01: CERBERUS (RARE Fire Monster)
Cerberus is one of my favorite monster of fire splinter.
This three headed beast is so powerful in the battlefield.
My Cerberus is in level 4 with 3 melee attack, 4 speed & 7 health with "Heal & Retaliate" ability.
It needs 4 mana.
Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.
No 02: FINEAS RAGE (RARE Fire Monster)
I used to like Giant Orc for reach ability till I'vd found out Fineas Rage.
When you find a high mana clip battle and you decides to play with fire splinter, Fineas Rage should be in the second position without further ado.
My Fineas Rage is in level 3 with 3 melee attack, 5 speed & 9 health with "Reach" ability.
It needs 7 mana.
Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.
No 03: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)
This is the card that I use when there's slot left but no mana left.
I mean it's service is great for free I suppose.
Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg.
It provides great support with its counter attack.
With 0 mana... it's just amazing.
My Furious Chicken is in level 6 with 1 melee attack, 1 speed, 1 health with "Enrage" ability.
It needs 0 mana.
Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.
No 04: Kobold Miner (Common Fire Monster)
This is a cool monster with very low mana (2).
Someday before I decided to sell off every fire cards and I sent them in the market too.
Maybe only this card got sold with cooldown timer and then I decided to bring all those cards back and I couldn't bring this one back as it was already sold.
You should understand how much peoples like it after you know the fact that my level 6 Kobold Miner got sold in one day with cooldown time.
My Kobold Miner is in level 4 with 2 melee attack, 2 speed, 4 health with "Sneak" ability.
It needs 2 mana.
Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.
No 05: Elven Cutthroat (Common Neutral Monster)
This is the monster that reminds me of some characters of Lord of The Rings movie series.
This little monster has nice power with low mana (3).
This is a perfect monster for little league battles.
I made it level 5 long before and then I couldn't anymore.
My Elven Cutthroat is in level 5 with 2 melee attack, 4 speed, 3 health with "Sneak" ability.
It needs 3 mana.
Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.
No 06: COCATRICE (RARE Neutral Monster)
I think this is the only dragon in the neutral splinter.
It's another nice monster that needs only 2 mana but provides nice support.
My Cocatrice is in level 3 with 1 melee attack, 4 speed, 3 health with "Flying" ability.
It needs 2 mana.
Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.
- In my personal opinion... KOBOLD MINER is a nice fit for the ruleset for its power and abilities.
- Yeah, my strategy worked out perfectly and I'll try to use similar helpful monsters next time if I need to.
- Hell yeah, every time when I play with fire splinter, I try to give a try with this monster for it's nice power and ability.
- I'm going to share this post with #splinterlands hashtag on twitter after publishing this post.
On the battlefield.
My Fineas Rage started the battle actually.
Then following him, other teammates were doing awesome job.
The theme card, Kobold Miner missed his first shot though.
No one died in the second round as well and my Kobold Miner was still missing his hits on Feral Spirit of my opponent's team.
My team killed one of the opponent's strongest monsters in the 3rd round and my Cocatrice was doing a great thing avoiding hits of enemy monsters.
Although my Cocatrice died in the 4th level by the opponent's Feral Spirit.
Then my Elven Cutthroat took revenge on the death of their dragon bu killing opponent's Feral Spirit right after my little dragon died.
My opponent team was dying and dying by the rage of my monsters.
After losing their Elven Cutthroat in round 6, they had only one monster left in there and I had 5 monsters with high health in my team.
It was obvious that I was gonna win the battle now.
The one and only monster of the opponent's team fought well and became a martyr after all :D.

Nice post!
Ya know, I really love that you sell (and buy) cards so often. Though I have sold cards, I'm more like @marianaemilia who has NEVER sold a card. 🤣
But I like your way... might as well sell it if you're not using it.
