Jay Rodriguez shattered Liverpool hope of keeping their home unbeaten run record as he Equalised for Burnley in the 1-1 draw at the Anfield stadium. It's really a sensational match as Robertson give Liverpool a lead in the 34 minutes with a header and unfortunately in the 69 minutes jay Rodriguez levelled it up.

Liverpool keep the possession but Burnley are in good form since the return of the English Premier league and their performances is overwhelming. Since the return they have only lost a single match which is against Manchester City and they are currently ranked 9th with 50 points.

Liverpool are supposed to win the match with the way they played so hard but Burnley are so defensive and they left no chance for error. Salah played so well but he was denied several time by the goal keeper and defender same as Robert Firmino.

Liverpool journey so far Since the beginningofthe season

Liverpool has been consistent for several season but they always lose out towards the end of the season, but since last season the zeal was there and there is potential of winning the EPL in them since they won the Champions League and also the World Club Cup.

They waited long for 30 years before they could get get their hand on the English Premier League title this season since the inception of the Barclays Premier League.

So far Liverpool are now aiming to break a record set by Manchester City in 2017/2018 with 100 league points. Liverpool currently have 93 points with 7 more points to go, which means they needed at least 2 win and 1 draw to make 7 points or better still they win all the 3 matches to get 9 points. But it wont be easy for them as they are still facing Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle.

Possibilities of reaching the 100points is not certain but we will see how it goes.

Sort:

I believe they sold this match. Kinda obvious

I dont think something like that happened, they play so hard and they never left any chance for Liverpool to defeat them.
