The quote 'united we stand divided we fall' is the true definition of communism. When a community put on a united front we see tremendous things happen, but give little room for division in opinion and you start seeing different treason to destroy such community.
Hive has given us a platform in form of a united front with all hands on deck which is the sole reason why if something is going to work, it is the people existing within that community that will be the force to drive such vision to life. Below are the three communities that are adding value for me on hive and that I can see there impact.
A. BDCOMMUNITY: This was created by the Bangladesh community right from the day of steem and till now, they haven't stopped there good work. This community has not failed in helping hivers with the following:
- They upvote quality post be it posted via there community or not.
- They have a community post they issue out on a weekly basis to showcase the work of talented hivers.
- They have this welcoming communism amongst there tribe men which makes me fall in love with there language. If you have the time, kindly visit bdcommunity server and participate in there weekly meeting where we sing and cheer among ourselves and get a prize for well delivered presentation.
- Bdcommunity holds contest to encourage writers and players of the popular blockchain game splinterlands. They encourage us writers and participants with upvotes and good prizes to winners. Example of those is this.
I love posting on them because of there upvote, once your post is good and meets the community guideline, you get an upvote.
B. MANCAVE: This second community for me is straight out of the television, it is something I think in my head anyways whenever I think about this community, they are different from other community I am familiar with and they are called Mancave.
This might be confusing like the name implies, but really it is a community for all, where people gather to discuss manly things. What a man can do, a woman can do better is the best way to describe this community. With there initiative, I have seen women who are into farming, building and other manly stuff showcase there talent via the contest thrown by this community. By using there community tags like #mancave #menofcrypto you will be upvoted. They also put up contest once in a while for people to earn. Lastly the community have a coin that makes holders of it share in the community curation reward. For more info about this community, kindly join there discord channel here.
C. HIVE NAIJA: This one is close to home because as an African and a Nigeria, it feels good to see some form of representation of Africans in the community. Not as big as the other community yet but it has been doing big things in its own way. This community was created solely to help Nigerians gain ground on the platform also by teaching newbies on the dos and donts of the hive community, throwing both twitter and hive contest to help hive gain more popularity.
