From the centralized world, a social media-addicted boy jumped in here. He didn’t see any toxic social trends here which are available on Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. For him, everything was blurry, he doesn't even know what the f*** he will be doing here, roaming around with an idea that people can make money here. Where the hell do those monies come from? No idea. Where is he? No idea. What to do next? No idea. Tried to post some random photos and the abcd type of writing, which was of no use.
Fast-forwarding, somehow I ran out of HP and had to seek a delegation from somewhere. At that moment I didn't even know what exactly HP does and what delegation means, then BDCommunity came, users from the community delegated me some HP, and I kept moving. That's how it started!
Regular contests, weekly voice meetings, super active chats, full of information and resources, a complete package to be an ideal community. As this one is my native community so there was a soft place for me, but the way the community stands with the newbies that's outstanding. From a newbie to this level, my journey wouldn't be smooth if there wasn't BDCommunity. Maybe I would have been lost in the midway or struggling from this one to that one. Enough of mine, I guess many of you might not be interested in my journey but most of us are in debt to the community in the same way. Let's move on, as a part of the community let me focus on its broader view.
Like all other communities, BDCommunity got some basic rules along with some extra unique ones that vary from community to community. The most important things here are the quality of the content and engagement, if any author can make improvements in these two-aspect then there is a high chance of full community support. From the beginning, I have seen the community fighting against the abusers and scammers, who are just trying to milk the reward pool. BDCommunity was always in a strict position in this matter.
Within the community, we got master traders, cinephiles, writers, amazing poets, crypto investors, developers, splinterlands top players, top card traders, gamers, etc. What do you need to survive in this crypto world? You would get any kind of atmosphere under this one roof.
Every week there comes a magazine, we call that as Turni. So far we went through 71 issues, every week some good pieces of unique content are produced by the authors. Undoubtedly that's a good read for any authors throughout the chain.
We consider this as a family, not just some strangers that came across coincidentally. There is some strong bonding with one another even in this virtual space. The community got charitable funds too in case of any need around us in our practical life, we have taken on many tasks in the past and completed them successfully. This is the beauty of a community, standing side by side with everyone in every condition, isn't it?
This is like a family, our second home!
