My Para is the best neighborhood and I really belong to my para. The beautiful green Barishal district where there is a little village called Shundardi where we belong and I am very lucky to born in that Neighborhood what taught me values of people emanation and love.

My para is evergreen! There is a huge cannel in front of the para and the rode with big trees on the both side always provides fresh air. Due to the Para close to an old port, most of the people living in the Neighborhood is somehow related to business and own or work in some shops.

Most of the adult men went to work early in the morning and come back home in the evening, although sometimes they come home for lunch or little nap. Women mostly work at home, cooking and maintaining household activities which is a huge support to the family.
Each afternoon all the kids of the Para has to come to a point where we decided what to play for rest of the afternoon or even till the evening. We started from Dariabandha, Gollachut, Barof-Pani and most of the day it was ended with Hide and Seek, feeling nostalgic.

The best thing of our Para was the celebration! Eid, Puja or Christmas we were just celebrating everything. We had access to each house of the Neighbourhood and I could remember each Puja time I bought more fireworks than the people actually celebrating and we celebrated together. During Eid vacation there were people belongs to Hinduism or Christianity always being invited to our home at the Second night of the Eid celebration and my mom cooked all the delicious food for them, precious time.

People are mostly happy here although people have been changed over the years . Whenever I go to my Para where I was born I breathe full lungs air and automatically there is a happy feeling inside of my heart. My para means all the trees, my siblings, and my parents! I feel peace to be at my home. My Para is the best para as my parents living there, my para is the best para as each time I close my eyes I can see each trees, bricks and roads down there.

I hope you are also in love with my Para already…!

Nicely written, man! I also played the gollachut and hide and sick in my childhood. They are just memories now. Now no place for playing all those childhood games. Best of luck for the contest.

I am glad you like the writing! In writing I Found so many mistake just now but hay... I hope you got my feelings and my love to the beautiful piece of land. Kids will not find the joy we did enjoy in our childhood. Amazing years after years and suddenly everything stopped along my SSC. Most of the student in our country ( specifically at village ) lost their childhood activities along the SSC level. Alas! Beautiful moment of life....
