Our visit to the radio station was an interesting and educational experience tour. It provided us a great experience into how a radio station is run and the significance of radio stations in society and not only that exposed us to the rudiments of the work done in advertising environments.
Our visit to ADABA FM in Ondo State began with a tour of the radio station. The guide
Mr. Adeola showed us around the studio and described what each room does and how the equipment works in the station. We got to see the equipment in action and learned about the broadcasting, financial, and engineering processes of the station.
Our tour also included viewing the newsroom where the news is broadcast and other sections in the station. The experience was very interesting, we learn about the various tasks involved in running a radio station in the future, from booking guests for industry, to music editing in various ways.
Every members of the group still go ahead to interviewing one of the radio station's presenter Mr Peter, The interview with him provided us well detail information about their job and what it is like to be a radio presenter.
Finally, some of us including me were able to attend one of the station's programs. It was very informative and demonstrated how radio programming is used to inform, educate, and entertain everyone in the society .
