দুমাস হলো প্রায় এলাকার বাইরে যাওয়া হয়না বললেই চলে। আমি এমনিতেও এলাকার বাইরে তেমন একটা যাইতে চাই না। তার উপর কোভিড-১৯ আসার পর থেকে বাসার সবার মাঝে প্রচুর ভয় বিরাজ করছে। কিছুদিন যাবৎ ফেরিওয়ালা গুলোও আসে না।

It is almost two months I am not go out from my area. Anyway I don't like to go outside the area. There has been a lot of fear in the house since the Kovid-19 attack.The peddlers do not come for last few days.
এদিকে বাসায় মজুদ রাখা খাবার প্রায় শেষের দিকে ।তাই ভাবলাম যাই একটু বাজার করেই আনি। বাসায় শুনে বলছে তুমি পোলাপান মানুষ এই করোনার সময় বাজারে যাবা কেনো । বাজারে আমরা যাবো।
Meanwhile, the food stored at home is almost at the end. So I thought I would go to the market.My family members are saying," you do not go to the market during this corona. We will go to the market."
আমি মনে মনে ভাবছি, এই তো সময় নিজের দায়িত্ব ও কর্তব্যবোধ দেখানোর। আমি বললাম দেখো, "এই সময় যাদের ইমিউন সিস্টেম যাদের বেশি ভালো তাদেরই বের হওয়া উচিত। আর বয়স্কদের ইমিনিটী বয়স বাড়ার সাথে সাথে কমতে থাকে। তাই আমি যাবো"

এর মধ্যে বাবা বলল ," তুমি বছরের ৩৬৫ দিনের মধ্যে ২৬৬ দিনই খালি কাশো।"
ক্রিকেটে যেমন ভাল একটা ইনিংস গড়ার মাঝখানে বৃষ্টি বাগরা দিলে যা হয় , আমার অবস্থাও তখন তাই। কিন্তু আমি নাছোড়বান্দা বাজার আজকে আমি করবোই। সবশেষে সিদ্ধান্ত হল আমি আর বাবা দুজনই বাজারে যাবো।
In the meantime,my father said, "You are always got cold fever majority days of the year." As is the case in cricket, when it rains in the middle of an innings, my condition was the same.But I was stubborn to go to market today. In the end, it was decided that my father and I would go to the market.
বাজারে গিয়ে ডিমের দোকানে কানার আব্বার সাথে দেখা। কানা নাম হওয়ার কারণ, আমাদের বন্ধুদের মধ্যে ও সবসময় স্টাইল করে সানগ্লাস পড়ে থাকত। তাই আমরা ভালবেসে 😂কানা বলতাম।
In the market we meet with Kana's father at the egg shop.We call him kana because , our friends always wore sunglasses in style. That's why we used to call him Kana.
মাস্ক আর টুপি পড়ার কারণে আংকেল প্রথমে চিনতে পারলেন না।পরে
আঙ্কেল চিনতে পেরে সরল হাসি দিয়ে বললেন, ”ভাল আছো তো।”
Uncle didn't recognise me at first because I was wearing a mask and a hat.LaterUncle recognised me and said with a simple smile, "Are you well?."
আঙ্কেল কে সালাম দিয়ে বললাম, ”জি আঙ্কেল”।
তারপর জিজ্ঞাস করলাম,"আঙ্কেল কেমন আছেন ?"
আঙ্কেল বললেন, ”ভাল নাই। জ্বর আসছে, ঠাণ্ডা লাগছে।”
I greeted Uncle and said, "Yes".
Then I asked his physical condition.Uncle said, "It's not good. The fever cold attacked him.”
ডিমের দোকানদারকে দেখলাম কেমন যেন ভ্যাবাচ্যাকা খেয়ে হাতের পলিথিন ফেলে দিল। তারপর একহাতে লুঙির গিট্টু ধরে দাঁড়িয়ে রইলেন। মনে সুযোগ পেলে গিট্টু ধরে দৌড় দেবেন।
I saw the egg shopkeeper panic as he threw away the polythene in his hand.Then he stood holding the Lungi with one hand and looking for chance to run away from there.
আশেপাশে থাকা মানুষজন নড়েচড়ে উঠে কেমন যেন উৎসুকতার সহিত তাকিয়ে রইল।
The people around us looked at him with curiosity.
কেউ কেউ আবার ভয়ে পিছন দিকে হাঁটতে শুরু করল । মনে হচ্ছে যেন ভুত দেখেছে।
Some of them started walking backwards in fear. It looks like they had seen a ghost.
আঙ্কেল ডিমের দাম দিয়ে বলল,”বাসায় আইসো।”
আমি তখনো আশেপাশের লোকগুলিকে দেখছিলাম।আমার তো কেমন যেন মজাই লাগছিল।
After paying the price of eggs Uncle invited Come his home.
এর মধ্যে আঙ্কেলকে বললাম,” জি আঙ্কেল। ”
In the meantime, I agreed to him by saying Gee Uncle.
তারপর দেখি বাবা ৩ টা বড় বড় ডিম বাছাই করে দোকানদারের হাতে দিতেই দোকারদার চমকে উঠলো আর অমনি ডিমগুলো পড়ে থকাস করে ফেটে গেলো ।
Then I saw my father pick 3 big eggs and give them to the shopkeeper.The shopkeeper was startled and immediately the eggs fell and burst.
আর আমি তখনো ভাবছি ,"আর জি আঙ্কেল বলাটা কি ঠিক হল। "
