Crime births when people are morally weak or the law isn't strong enough or they are pushed to their limits to live a peaceful life; don't know what is the cause here, but I am certain that if the government is willing to eradicate them, it's possible. As already the residents are willing to get rid of them, a little more effort from the law enforcement agency would serve the purpose unless the 'law' itself is associated with them; which is way too common in many third-world countries.

They are several factors that have led to an upsurge in banditry and terrorism in Northern Nigeria. Illiteracy, poverty, poor moral standards, inadequate social amenities, corruption in government, greed to mention a few are some of the causes of this criminal activities. I just hope the government and security agencies will rise to the occasion and put an end to it. Nigerians deserve better.
Every human deserves better, not only the Nigerians. So, let's hope this ends quickly 🤞
