The Martian

Imagine you are alone in a planet. Stranded, presumed dead from earth. How would your reaction be? What would your next step be? How will you counter every aspect coming in your way? Let us have a discussion over that topic and based on this similar plot a movie has been made THE MARTIAN.

The plot of the movie is based on a mission in mars. A crew gets to explore on Mars and due to an incident an astronaut gets to be left behind on Mars. The person who was left behind on Mars the story mostly resolves from there and takes a very interesting plot which will keep you entangled all through the movie.

If it was you, on that position, thousands of miles away from earth, without any resources to live, no plan to survive or even nowhere to go, your options becomes limited. But all of the above can be accomplished if only you have the will to survive. A brief preview to explain my pov about the movie.

The astronaut Watney Matthew Paige Damon when was stranded on Mars alone, he had two choices, either to die like that or to find a way to survive and make a solution for himself to overcome this situation. While, in order to survive he needed few key elements, food, as he was limited on food supply he needed to find a way to grow foods on Mars. As he was a botanist on the crew he finds a way to use the resources he had, to grow food on mars. As hard as it sounds but it is the truth. Some of the activities within the movie will make you feel thrilled at times. And also you might get involved in the movie so much that at some point you will probably scream out loud (in a good way) due to some some epic clips of the movie.

Watney did a calculation, he had four years in hand to get prepared for the rescue of his from Mars. And during that period his crew thought Watney was dead due the incident that happened while they abandoned Watney on mars. But a connection was made by whatney and a successful communication was made between he and the people of Earth on Nasa. Thus many more incidents happen and after a certain amount of time Whatney gets to see the end of the light.

Now this is just probably a fragment of the movie which I have shared. The screenplay, direction and the acting done the actors were fascinating. Needless to say, I am a very big fan of fiction movies and whenever there is something new, I do give it a try. The thoughts and the way they are presented to the audience makes a movie what it is! If you are looking for thrill and want to come out from your comfort zone of thrill and fiction, you may give THE MARTIAN a chance. Director Ridley Scott did a very fine job in presenting each screen with the audience.

I am not a person, who likes to watch movies based on ratings. As we all have different taste in watching movies or being entertained. I will watch anything of that is interesting to me or I find it entertaining. Shoot me your best anime/TV series/Movies in the comment section, I am need of those lol. Lock don sucks!!! Even so the rating of this movie in IMDB is 8.0/10.
