Hive really is an incentive as there are still some very generous curators and communities who seek those that put in their best to work and create good contents. It's possible many don't read posts but just vote them because they actually trust those users they are voting. They know the users aren't used to spamming and many at times place an auto-vote on the account. Such cannot happen if for the first time a high reputation user decides to read another users post for the first time and finds it uninteresting or sees it as spam. He or she would definitely leave such post unattended which is why some think a lot of people here who hold a lot of stake are selfish not looking at the kind of content they create.
Farming rewards are now popular on hive a lot especially with some new accounts. When I got here few months ago,I'm not trying to justify myself but I found it really hard to cope, I had to work my through all the odds of Hive. I made friends, tried to interact and many more. It's not been all Rossy but I had to try even harder, I was astonished the day I saw my account reputation at 61. It gave me great joy and made me push even further.
This week's turni is really an eye opener to all and I feel so blessed reading it.
Yeah, that reputation thing is really amazing. When I was new I used to get amazed at reaching higher levels one after another. It still amazes me too but takes a long time, Lol. The higher the reputation is the higher the milestone is.
