It's been more than two weeks since I wrote. I was busy with my personal life, so I couldn't manage enough time to write but i am still alive and safe by the grace of the Almighty. That's what matters. Surviving in the current situation is becoming challenging. We know that times are not going well, corona situation is getting worse. The smoke of unrest all around, the hardships of survival are becoming possible day by day. Just a week ago, the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the festival of Muslims, came to an end. The next day, a nationwide lockdown was announced again. The announcement to reopen all the factories was made just yesterday but on the contrary the movement of vehicles is prohibited. It doesn't make any sense. Due to which people are heading towards the city in whatever way they can and this is going to increase the risk of more corona infections.
In the meantime, we, the students of private universities, are preparing to give the semester finals. Where all government education activities are closed in the whole country, examinations are starting in universities like ours. It is like collecting tuition fee, through pretending of examination. Start the exam means pay the tuition fee, then collect the admit card. I went to the university yesterday for the tuition fee issue. Going to the main gate of the university, it seemed that there was no one inside, the outside gate was locked, there was no activity in the campus. As soon as I asked the gateman, he said, there is sir in the office. I entered the campus through the small subgate.
The flowering trees are full of flowers. The grasses have grown, not cared for recently. There are algae on the roads. Noticing all this, I was surprised to enter the inside of the campus. All the activities are going on, all the teachers are sitting in their respective offices. Sir is taking classes online in the lab. I met Sir and went to the accounts office. I came out with what I needed and started to slow down my old memories. Where is the canteen, usually where we used to sit and chat with friends, sad to say, the canteen has been demolished. Maybe there will be a new canteen or the place will be used for some other purpose.
Don't know when everything will be fine as before, when we will have hang out with friends like before, sit by the river bank and have tea. Celebrating friends' birthdays etc, I really don't know if there will be that chance again. But hope Isn't the mistake, we are waiting for that day when we used to happy with friends.
Private Universities can't make money unless they complete the ongoing courses and bring freshers. Btw isn't this good for you guys too? Students of Public and national universities are stuck and you guys are completing your semesters one after another. Hahaha.
Yeah, everything will be fine one day. We would be able to breathe again without any fear and enjoy like the old days.
I can't deny but truth i didn’t attend 40% of classes since semester started on online, but i was regular student. Didn’t attend because i learn nothing. Ik online classes are still good but not every universities.
That's very sad to hear. If the quality isn't good enough then it's a disaster for the students.
