Pumpkins here..pumpkins over there...pumpkins are everywhere !
The local farm store has a fantastic selection of pumpkins for sale this year in many different sizes to choose from.
βΊI'm a little embarrassed and must confess...
I spent a considerable amount of time looking around and walking around trying to decide which one I wanted and then left without purchasing a single one..π€·π»ββοΈππ€¦ββοΈ.
My indecisiveness gave me some time to thinkπ€.
Every time I purchase a pumpkin to put out on my porch the squirrels and chipmunks devour them ππΏ.
I decided not purchase one this year.
π€π I'm now reconsidering my decision.
I live quite far in the woods and love all the nearby wildlife. That's why I why I live where I am.
I'm desirous of going back to the farm store and I won't leave this time without purchasing a pumpkin for the wildlife to devour/eat and enjoy.

Autumn is my favourite season.
Bright orange cheery pumpkins and beautiful seasonal mum flowers and ornamental kale...
And truly the beautiful amazing Autumn foliage to.

I'm hoping to get back to blogging soon.
A couple of close friends of mine passed away(died). Sad. I also had a couple of injuries that required care.
I did take many photos of mushrooms last yearπ. Just couldn't get motivated to post.

oh. I do understand that, myself I feel a lot of time Hive isnt being in priority. But we have a nice community here after all, it is always nice to come back. I wish you recovery very soon! As for me... well, things arent well in the family, more in the mental way that physically. NB: I suffered C-19 in the 1st week of February too. And know what? It was easy, and definitely did not worth all the shit they splashed on us.... (my opinion and my point of view on this issue). As for the mushrooms... ehehe... ewkaw established a new community dedicated especially to the f-f challenge, my guess is, you will find it more attractive to head your posts there... but that isnt what important; will see. Wish you well!

I'm glad you reconsidered your decision and will buy some pumpkins to be devoured by the wild life...! π I see each year the birds eating the the figs in the tree we have in the frontyard, and I think this is right for them, fruits belongs to Nature π

I will be picking up a pumpkin tomorrow on my way home from work....just might even get two of them..ππ€π. I do so much enjoy the amazing wildlife hereβ€.

The Chipmunks are so cute, friendly and very entertaining ππΏ.
They will gnaw many holes in the pumpkins and crawl right inside. They really do love pumpkins. The squirrels do too..!!π
Eventually I toss the old pumpkins out in woods for the wild Turkeys to finish off.
You're very welcome @annephilbrick! We don't really have many chipmunks around here at all but I do appreciate their cuteness! I love that the wild Turkeys get the old pumpkins too! ππ
I always hope the critters leave my pumpkins alone until after the season has passed, but then I trow them out into the woods to become a feast for the wildlife! Your photos are beautiful!
