I haven't played monopoly in years. I was honestly a little hesitant to play. I was doubtful to whether or not this new version had stayed true to the original concept.

Yet as I proceeded, my worries were laid to rest. There were a few alterations to the game.

In this arena of Monopoly. There were no properties only well know characters. Who's allegiance could was either be purchased our auctioned to the highest bidder. Take Mr Wong here for example.

If you were lucky enough to avoid going to jail, and landed in his domain. The outcome would vary based on Mr. Wong's availability. If Mr. Wong was still a free agent at the time of your arrival. You would have the option of purchasing his services for 300 Avenger currency.

If you did not feel the need to purchase his services, or you could not afford it. Mr Wong services would now go into auction. Giving the other players a chance to bid on Mr. Wong's allegiance. You yourself might acquire his allegiance at a discount.

I found this aspect of the game be a unique twist, and adjusted my strategy accordingly.

Winter Soldier and Black Panther play their own roles in the game. Once their allegiance is bought. Landing in their domain will cost you four times the dice roll if they're owned independently or ten times the roll of owned by the same player.

The children of Thanos, are also a unique addition. If you land on one of their territories. You'll find yourself rolling one dice, and hoping to roll a one, two, three or four. Depending on which of the four territories you land on. The number of tries is equal to one plus the number of allegiances you own.

Stark Industries and the Infinity Gauntlet are your chance cards. Either they'll cost you, or you'll get a sweet prize.

Though if you land on Hela or Ultron you'll be forced to pay 100 in Avenger currency.

Over all I found the game was fun, and challenging. One roll of the dice, or a hasty decision could turn the situation quickly.

The game is creative and interactive. In terms of it's construction. The colorful board, red dice, and solid metal pieces give the game of feel quality.

It's a fun twist too a classic game. Even the manual is clearly written and easy to read.

Thank you for taking the time to share with me. With all the choas that's currently being unleashed on our world. Sometimes we need to take a step back and play a game or two with our friends and family. It's a simple reminder, that life is not as crazy as we're being lead to believe.

very interesting ! was curious how they adapt the rules of streets with properties and the Avengers heroes...LoL
I always like to play board games with my adult kids when we meet together, we always do some games after the meal, we all enjoy that and we try to find new board games that can interest everyone 😊

Years ago I dated someone who had a really close family. It was one those relationships you learned from. The funny part is that even though they had a super close family.
Monopoly was banned in their house. They were so competitive individually, that Monopoly could not be played in their house.

read it with intrest.
tho I am keeping sceptical about all those 'twists'. imo its just another way for the copyright-holders to make collectioneer (or you) to may. some folks just collect those 'nice solid metal figurines'.

ps. how many hours did this one take to finish, and how many friends took part in the match?..

It was just me and my brother. Yet I haven't played monopoly in years. Way before any of these new versions came out. We were there for a few hours. I could lasted longer but I had to work early so I called it a loss.. lol

ok, thank you for clearing out this.
