First of all, Happy Valentine's Day❤️🌹
From The Wong family to you and you and you
I know I am late to posting this but I always would be enjoying a celebration in real life until I couldn't manage to blog. Usually, when I was out and about with family, house chores got delayed. By the time I reached home, it would be finishing up this and then finishing up that — non-stop from making sure the children were clean, then to ensure the house was clean.
Valentine's Day is to celebrate love. I don't think it is restricted only to couple although following the trend now, it is celebrated among the couple. This day is about commemorating the act of selfless love. Husband and I figured out that it would be a better way to celebrate with the children this year, they had been such great boys to us, a blessings to us, it shows us that apart we, parents who love our children, they too, very love us, in fact, a lot. Since we all love spending time together, off we went to our favourite place.
We love Sunway Velocity Mall, and we love dining at Hometown Hainan Coffee. So we went to Hometown Hainan Coffee at Sunway Velocity Mall.
On normal days, we would not come to this mall as it isn't nearby where we stay, but for special day, this is our place-to-go. And the Hometown Hainan Coffee restaurant here is way more spacious than we one we went last time at Times Square, Kuala Lumpur.
Earlier in the day, we had planned our activities. A slot for me-time screentime, a slot for revision, a slot for art, a slot of freedom and miscellaneous. We packed our bags with all the necessary materials and gadgets. Lol. Like a picnic but at eateries. Haha! Husband even planned a slot for mummy me to go shopping without rush, to get some casual dresses while he helped them with some homework. What a great Valentine's presents.
We love the food here
They have local food to Chinese to Western food, just the correct one to suit us all. Their pasta is delicious too, but since we had pasta for our lunch nearby our house, so we didn't order the pasta here. Here was our order.
Toast and drinks
We reached here at 3pm, so some snacks first and drinks. Super love their Hainan Coffee and Hainan tea. Hmmmm...very soothing to the palate.
Prata and curry chicken
Two hours later at 5pm, the eldest boy was hungry again due to growth spurt, so we had this. Very yummy. The curry was wow wow delicious.
The boys reminded us we hadn't got couple photo, so here it was, taken by my eldest.
Then, I got to shop from 5:30pm to 7pm. It was so pleasant to walk around the mall, choosing the dresses I love without any other distraction. By the time I was back at the restaurant, we were all hungry except the husband. I ordered Hainanese Chicken Rice for myself and the boys ordered fried noodles.
The food. One word. Yummylicious! I couldn't afford to see my husband without food so I ate half of my chicken rice and gave half to him.
Really love how spacious this place is and not crowded at all. I super love one section which has some plants decoration.
After that, we still had some time to walk around before the mall closed, so we went to the level loved by the boys. The arcade and playground area.
I kept my phone in bag most of the time because I love to enjoy the time together. So not many photos here.
