The curiosity of children.
For the month of March of each year, Holy Week is celebrated, it is the week where we dedicate it to remembering everything that Jesus went through during his last week of life.
During Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday we must eat fish or try to eat that type of food. For Easter last year we spent it in Villa de Leyva, Colombia and I really liked what my grandchildren were able to learn about it.
We discovered that the wells were full of fish and we were taken by surprise by the quarantine and could not buy our fish and cassava that we usually eat those days. So we set out to fish.
The children asked what is that? It was the first time they had seen a fish and where it came from. They saw how we pulled them out of the well with a net and that little animals came out of the water jumping and flapping. Then they were also explained what the meaning of Holy Week is (to the older children), which they understood very well.
It was a unique experience for both them and us adults. This is my entry to the @davidesimoncini contest called #PhotoChain which has as keywords this week: FISH-VINTAGE and I add BUCKET.

La curiosidad de los niños.
Para el mes de Marzo de cada año se cumple la semana Santa, es la semana donde la dedicamos a recordar todo lo que pasó Jesús durante su última semana de vida.
Durante el Jueves, Viernes, Sábado y Domingo de Resurrección debemos comer pescado o procurar comer ese tipo de alimento. Para la Semana Santa del año pasado lo pasamos en Villa de Leyva, Colombia y me gustó mucho lo que mis nietos pudieron aprender sobre eso.
Descubrimos que los pozos estaban llenos de peces y a nosotros nos tomó por sorpresa la cuarentena y no pudimos comprar nuestro pescado y yuca que solemos comer esos días. Así que nos dispusimos a pescar.
Los niños preguntaban qué es eso ? Era la primera vez que veían un pescado y de dónde salía. Vieron cómo los sacamos del pozo con una red y que del agua salían unos animalitos saltando y aleteando. Luego también se les explicó cual es el significado de la semana santa (a los niños más grandes) cosa que entendieron muy bien.
