I have had a look and my small Canon G9x cannot take timelapses, but I think I will take one from time to time if the scenery and the weather are right.
Maybe I should change the small camera to one that can take timelapses. I'll have a look at the market for used cameras, but I want a small one again which I can put in a pocket if I can't take the big camera with me.

The G9x from Canon which I have is small enough and its sister (or brother ;) the g7x can make timelapses.
I'm really thinking of searching a used one, because these timelapses are a really interesting thing 🙂

I looked up the GX its a nice little camera and handy to have for timelapses or when you cant carry the big camera
I am holding off buying anything at the moment as I just bought a switch lite for my wife and a switch for me ( Nintendo) when they were finally in stock, :)

Yes, and I like Canon because they have the same menu system in their cameras, so I will find the same setting at the same place and don't have to think too much ;) lol
2 Switch lite cost about the same as the camera I want ;) I haven't played for years with such a game console - the Nintendos of my kids are somewhere in a drawer, because they play either on their smartphone or with the Paystation. I don't play, because I know if I'd start I would forget everything else, even the Hive ;)

Yeah that is my concern that I will get addicted to it, but I am good and controlling my time not he Play Station so it will be OK, my Wife wants to get into the NEw Animal crossing that the kids and grandkids play so I will be playing that as well from time to time

Years ago I was playing Farmville because my sisters and friends played it too. I got up at 2 or 3 in the morning, because my crops were ready to harvest or because I had to milk the cows - never ever will I play such a game again ;)
I have no idea what Animal crossing is, but I can remember a similar named game that was pre-installed on my phone. It's good and understandable when you play with the kids together.

Animal crossing is a silly but fun little game, I had it on the Nintendo DS a few years back, and my wife was playing it recently, they brought out a new version which only runs on the switch
MY wife is keen to play it and hopefully her switch lite will arrive today, all od the family in MA ie her son his wife and two fo the grandkids are playing it, so it will be a family thing, each player has their own island and you can visit their islands as well as doing the things you have to do on your own, it is quite fun and i had been thinking of buying the full switch ( which you can connect to your TV last Black Friday, but with working i didn't think I would use it much, now I have time on my hands so I will make good use of it, the one I ordered comes with two other games and I can connect it to the TV in the lounge if I want to play with my wife a game like Mario Kart which is silly again but fun, and I can also hook it up onto my second monitor and multitask when on my PC,
Dang I waffle don, I guess I am just justifying spending money I probably shouldn't have right now
