Yesterday my wife and myself were back at the supermarket doing our fruit and veggie shopping but also on the hunt for the @alphabethunt contest run by @barbara-orenya and this week begins the hunt for letter "M" so follow us down the aisles and see what we can find starting with the letter "M" honestly this reminds me of the little games we use to play as kids , i spy with my little eye i am sure we have all played this game at some stage of our childhood life anyway lets move on.
Let us begin with the Melon Family one we are all familiar with these sweet, edible, and fleshy fruits we have the Water melon , Rock melon and Honeydew melon all rich in nutrients and antioxidants and all these melons help maintain healthy eye function.

Did you know that the Water Melon is also rich in L-citrulline it's a chemical called Amino acid which helps improve blood flow like Viagra increasing the blood flow to the sexual organs , i need to start eating more water melons 😂
Next we have that little juicy Mandarins just a sweet convenient fruit without getting all messed up eating this fruit it's very rich in Vitamins A, B, and a high level of Vitamin C , with there high levels of nutrients and vitamins these little orange fruits help preventing many diseases such as cancer , cholesterol and many more they also help in preventing colds and with this Mandarin been also rich in vitamin E and B12 these vitamins assist in hair growth to be able to have a nice healthy, shiny and strong head of hair 😊

The herb Mint , Mint leaf is not only used in many of our recipes for flavor , it also has many health benefits in aiding with cleaning up congestion of throat , nose and lungs improves oral health and many more benefits now a days we find mint everywhere in our toothpaste , chewing gum , foods , tea and many other places , Mint certainly gets around.
"Mint Herb"
Marjoram a herb also known as sweet marjoram is amongst the Mint Family it has the flavor similar to the Oregano herb mainly used in meat dishes , soups and to garnish salads it does have a milder flavor to Oregano.

Mexican Mangoes also know as the Ataulfo mango originated from Mexico it has more of a golden reddish skin high in nutrients and vitamins goes great in smoothies and makes a great dessert with ice-cream and nuts or mixed in fruit salads.

The Mangosteen fruit another fruit high in nutrients , vitamins and rich with antioxidants this little yummy sweet fruit helps in regulating blood pressure , it helps with anti inflammatory problems great in maintaining healthy skin and many more. Goes well with smoothies or tropical fruit salads giving it a delicious boost of flavor.

Great choices in the fruits and veggies! I had never seen the Mangosteen fruit here.
Can we call manadrin oranges or is this different, looks almost the same and I would love to taste Mexican mango. Loved the shape of those :D

I am big fan of the melon family and this is the flavour of the summer for me. Did you try melon with ginger?
Yum... I love fruits, and that mangosteen... I had a taste of it in one of my travels. I love the fleshy freshness, sour sweet flavors of that fruit! I love mangoes too!!! I regularly use mint leaves in my infused water drink, and use marjoram in making creme caramel (flan).

I got the first taste of Mangosteens in Bali years ago and i remember them been so cheap but here in Australia they are ridiculously expensive and i agree they have the best taste i still buy them here in Australia when they are in season.

Thank you for showing off the magosteens! I cannot remember the last time I had one! They are rarely seen here, although when in season, I have to be there when they unload the truck or they are gone! But, they do seem to be pretty pricey, but, darn good!

Magosteens are one of my favorite fruits and like you we don't get enough in our country and they are damn expensive but i still got to get the taste of them when they are in season like the Mexican mangoes it the same thing but the mint i have bushes of them in my back yard i love putting it in fresh water , mint water drink so cool 😊
@johannpiber said he will give me a trophy as a award if i complete all the letters remaining with fruits and veggies he will engrave on the trophy "The Fruit and Veggie King of the Year" 😂 😂
Trust me, he will do that. Mangoes aren't that difficult to get here, but in the winter time Mexico is our go-to place. I'm really enjoying you getting all the fruits and veggies out of the letters and find it quite fascinating that you can do it.

Oh you are right about that he is a real gentlemen. We do have lots of mangoes over here also it's just these Mexican mangoes we don't get a great deal of you would see more of them been closer to Mexico i would say.
