The journey from the day they almost died!

in Feel Good β€’ 11 days ago

Namaste to all nature lovers. πŸ™

Several months ago in a blog, I introduced you to adenium plants grown from seeds with my hands. That was the first time I tried to grow adenium from seeds and the almost 100% germination rate at the very first time gave wings to my happiness and positivity.

Even today I love seeing those pictures of their seedlings. And then watching them grow gave me a different feeling of happiness and peace.

I gave more than half of these to people in my family, last winter 2 small plants died due to extreme cold and after that, I was left with 4 Adenium plants and now I didn't want to share these 4 with anyone.

Then one day about a month ago, 2 of these plants fell on the ground floor balcony during a storm. Due to falling from such a height, their small pots broke as soon as they hit the ground, came out of the soil, and fell on the floor.

The bad news here was not that they fell but that the house on the balcony where they fell was locked for months. On the first day, I tried unsuccessfully to bring them back from my balcony only. Then the next day I found the number of the owner of that locked house who lives in another city and called him and requested him to somehow unlock the house so that I could go there and save my plants.

Thankfully, the owner of that house understood my uneasiness and cooperatively got the house unlocked the same day by telling his relative who lived nearby. Due to being left in the open without soil and water for about 2 days, those plants had quite withered and all their leaves had fallen off.

I don't have any pictures of that time. And to be honest, I don't regret it because at that time nothing else was going on in my mind except saving them.

I brought them back home, planted them in a new pot and placed them under the shade of a large plant. And now in the last few days, new leaves have started growing on them, seeing which I am once again very happy.
