Esta es mi participación vez en este encuentro de @talentos invita a escribir sobre "El poder de decisión", con un tema que tiene mucha tela que contar, si escribí contar, porque cada quien corta esa tela en su mejor manera de contar lo que piensa de sobre El poder de decisión.
El poder de la decisión: mi viaje de Ciudad Bolívar a Caracas
Tenía 17 años cuando tomé la decisión más importante de mi vida: irme de Ciudad Bolívar, mi ciudad natal, a Caracas, la capital de Venezuela. No fue una decisión fácil, ya que significaba dejar atrás a mi familia, mi madre, mis amigos y todo lo que conocía. Sin embargo, yo estaba decidido a buscar un futuro mejor para mí, esa fue la decisión que tome, y yo lo veo de esa manera ese poder de decisión estuvo acompañado de la oportunidad de salir desde Ciudad bolívar.
Ciudad Bolívar es una ciudad pequeña y tranquila, pero la situación económica y social del país era muy difícil, a mi corta edad de tan solo 17 años o desde antes de cumplir los 17 años, ya sabia que debía salir de Ciudad bolívar. Yo quería tener la oportunidad de estudiar y cuando me fui de mi ciudad, lo hice porque iba a presentar en la academia militar, y fue así, además quería otro trabajo, lo que yo podía considerar algo con un ambiente más favorable.
Mi familia no estaba de acuerdo con mi decisión, especialmente mi madre, pero a pesar de eso ella me apoyó, no estuvo de acuerdo, pero repito me apoyo. Algunos de mis familiares, como mi tía me decían que era muy joven para irme solo a Caracas, que era una ciudad peligrosa y que no iba a poder sobrevivir. Sin embargo, yo estaba decidido a cumplir mi sueño.
Un día, cuando ya tenía todo planificado para irme porque tenía que presentar los exámenes de la academia militar, empaqué mis cosas, mi madre me compro el pasaje y me subí a un autobús que me llevaría directo a Caracas. Me acuerdo de que el auto bus salió a las 10 de la noche, el viaje fue largo y agotador, de hecho me acuerdo de eso, no dormí en todo el camino, después de ocho horas finalmente llegué a mi destino.
Al principio, fue difícil adaptarse a la nueva ciudad. No conocía a nadie, no tenía un lugar donde vivir, solo algo temporal mientras lograba conseguir donde vivir, yo me fui con la idea de presentar y quedarme hasta la fecha de los resultados de esos exámenes, y no tenía trabajo. Sin embargo, no me di por vencido. Empecé a buscar trabajo y eso me ayudo a conseguir amigos.
Esta experiencia me enseñó el poder de la decisión. Cuando tomamos una decisión con convicción y determinación, podemos lograr cualquier cosa que nos propongamos.
Tú y yo sabemos que las decisiones que tomamos a lo largo de nuestra vida tienen un impacto significativo en nuestro futuro. Las decisiones pequeñas, como qué desayunar o qué ropa usar, pueden parecer insignificantes, pero pueden tener un efecto acumulativo en nuestras vidas. Las decisiones grandes, como qué carrera, estudiar o dónde vivir, pueden tener un impacto profundo en nuestro destino.
Estoy consiente de que las decisiones que tomamos nos definen como personas. Nos muestran lo que valoramos, lo que queremos lograr y lo que estamos dispuestos a sacrificar. Las decisiones que tomamos nos moldean y nos impulsan a seguir adelante.
Mi viaje de Ciudad Bolívar a Caracas fue una experiencia que me cambió la vida. Me enseñó el poder de la decisión y me dio la oportunidad de construir un futuro mejor para mí.

The power of decision: my journey from Ciudad Bolivar to Caracas
I was 17 years old when I made the most important decision of my life: to leave Ciudad Bolivar, my hometown, for Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. It was not an easy decision, as it meant leaving behind my family, my mother, my friends, and everything I knew. However, I was determined to seek a better future for myself, that was the decision I made, and I see it that way that power of decision was accompanied by the opportunity to leave from Ciudad Bolivar.
Ciudad Bolivar is a small and quiet city, but the economic and social situation of the country was very difficult, at my young age of only 17 years old or even before I was 17 years old, I already knew that I had to leave Ciudad Bolivar. I wanted to have the opportunity to study and when I left my city, I did it because I was going to attend the military academy, and I also wanted another job, which I could consider something with a more favorable environment.
My family did not agree with my decision, especially my mother, but in spite of that she supported me, she did not agree, but I repeat she supported me. Some of my relatives, like my aunt, told me that I was too young to go to Caracas alone, that it was a dangerous city and that I would not be able to survive. However, I was determined to fulfill my dream.
One day, when I had everything planned to leave because I had to take my military academy exams, I packed my things, my mother bought me the ticket and I got on a bus that would take me directly to Caracas. I remember that the bus left at 10 o'clock at night, the trip was long and tiring, in fact I remember that, I did not sleep the whole way, after eight hours I finally arrived at my destination.
At first, it was difficult to adapt to the new city. I didn't know anyone, I didn't have a place to live, just something temporary while I managed to get a place to live, I went with the idea of presenting and staying until the date of the results of those exams, and I didn't have a job. However, I did not give up. I started looking for a job and that helped me make friends.
This experience taught me the power of decision. When we make a decision with conviction and determination, we can achieve anything we set our minds to.
You and I know that the decisions we make throughout our lives have a significant impact on our future. Small decisions, such as what to eat for breakfast or what to wear, may seem insignificant, but they can have a cumulative effect on our lives. Big decisions, such as what career, what to study or where to live, can have a profound impact on our destiny.
I am aware that the decisions we make define us as people. They show us what we value, what we want to achieve and what we are willing to sacrifice. The decisions we make shape us and drive us forward.
My trip from Ciudad Bolivar to Caracas was a life-changing experience. It taught me the power of decision and gave me the opportunity to build a better future for myself.

El efecto mariposa, por mas pequeña que sea una decisión que tomamos en nuestra vida, es capaz de mover una montaña entera. Y el producto de esas decisiones ha hecho que hayas llegado hasta donde estas en este momento, felicidades por eso profesor.
Exacto, por más pequeña que sea esa decisión puede llevarnos a lugares que no pensábamos llegar en el buen sentido de lo que hacemos.

Estas en el lugar que el universo destino para ti y tu familia. En aquel momento ese viaje fue una dura decisión un cambio total, para una madurez y experiencia que no conocías, te hizo la persona que eres, la que sabes lo que cuesta las cosas. Definitivamente las decisiones marcan el camino que debemos seguir, y siempre nos queda el aprendizaje. Gran parte del proceso está en cómo gestionamos esa decisión y lo que deriva de ella.
