RE: ¡Christmas 2021! ...taking a quick glimpse to the "cyclical" future. (Chapter I)

Just checked 212 (two hundred and twelve, doscientos doce

Only 212? Huy! ahora es que te faltan jajaja.

I haven't found the matching song. But I am not giving up hahahha

That's my girl. Never giving up a good fight if the goal is to reach new knowledge. :)

eh, eh, people are having Christmas dinners so we dont know. There can be surprises in the number of participants, so I better guess as soon as possible hahaah

Nah! Really I don't think so. I already know them very well since a long time. And I know that neither with a full or empty belly they dare to participate in my challenging contests anymore. LoL

Agree :) You know, this Ara guy has very interesting music, also the collaboration he made, wow, the jazz stuff is so cool, also the Quartet tracks... His solo songs, aw... well, for sure, from your post and this question, a whole new inspiration, and knowledge acquiring came!!! So, thank you @por500bolos 🙌

And I know that neither with a full or empty belly they dare to participate in my challenging contests anymore. LoL

Seems I am a new one, without experience yet in your contests hahhahhaha, after this one... well, we will speak ;D

Los pasteles, cuando tenga la respuesta :)

My pleasure! And oh yeah, Ara is indeed an outstanding musician to whom I have followed for a long time and from whom I've also had the opportunity to include a large number of his albums in my personal collection of LPs. Which are well close and next to the LPs of Oregon and Paul Winters Consort. Another exceptional band from the sixties that I also recommend that you take a look if you liked Ara's work. :)

Yes, you are indeed a new one. And one of the best I've had so far. Since it is seen that you are not willing to give up so soon in my hairy contests and thus try to learn everything new that I might teach you. Hahahaha

There you go babe! };)

playing now while I am writing you...hmmm, could be, could be that save to playlist will happen. Ok, happened :) Thank you, for this one also!

But...it is not just to take my attention away from the hunt for Ara's song, right? :D I have time to guess it just until the end of this year. It makes it more difficult, but as we agreed, no voy a dejar que me pongan el tornillo que me falta, aunque me vuleva loca (o quizás esta busqueda va a servir justo para ponerme sana de nuevo jajaja)

But...it is not just to take my attention away from the hunt for Ara's song, right? :D

Nunca!

Now you just need to tell me the "exact name" of the song and you will be able to gift those 3 HBD of the prize to whoever angers you the most. Hahahaha };)

Meanwhile and as a consolation prize while you determine what's the real name of the song.

Felicitaciones!!

Now you just need to tell me the "exact name" of the song

Hahaha, just that? Ok, here we go :)))

So the song is Trilogy, from the album Picture, published in 1986, by Night Ark, a jazz instrumental quartet where we can enjoy the talent of Ara Dinkjian, and three more musicians (for the complete answer: Arto Tunçboyacıyan, Armen Donelian, and Marc Johnson)

But, a bit of further not required analytical approach can come too, so...

We have this part that we can call {connection} as the song Trilogy, logically, has three parts, connected with this tune we are interested in. The connection opens the song, in a short, half a minute form...then comes the first official part titled Birth. After it, the connection appears again, as well in a short form before the second official part starts, Malo Gato. Malo Gato passes in the blink of an eye, but luckily we can enjoy again in the connection. Well, this time in a longer variation of it, the parts of it are more developed with repetitions, improvisations, chords, rhythmical patterns, and virtuous scales, combined with a more chilling main theme of it... After this complex connection we are arriving at the third part of the Trilogy song, titled Looyse. It has an optimistic vibe, is a bit different, and brings freshness. For the end of Trilogy, our connection is played the last time, and this is exactly the part that appears in the video from this post of yours! Oh, the very last arpeggio chord from the Trilogy song is missing in this video where David Hoffman used this music.

I hope that not a lot of confusion brought my answer ;D Oh, the consolation prize is interesting, combines some early Baroque kind of sounds with folklore, jazz, and the short Fuga as a form of composition typically used in Baroque. Hmm, pretty cool is this mixture, thank you :)

muchas gracias :D

P.S. I still dont know the answer, but you already know that. In contrary, you would know that I know :D
