I left the dumpsters in on the right side of the road but wanted all of the people, cars, and trash to be out of the picture. Just for a moment.

Even the temporary signage need not say anything. It is there and has a faded color in the mind's eye.

Some of the buildings on my street are over two hundred years old and they just don't go well with the cars of the twenty first century.
I love old buildings. Unless they are damaged and or dangerous I wouldn't change a thing. A 200 year old building has stood the test of time. Plus the old architecture was just so awesome!
I live in Buffalo NY and a lot of our buildings are historical, and the architecture is very Victorian / Gothic in many neighborhoods. It's one of the few things I really love about my city. The old churches are simply incredible too. They just don't build stuff like that anymore!
I totally agree. New York has a lot of nostalgic places too!
Certainly, it is a beautiful painting of an old and beautiful neighborhood that without people and its consequences is much better.
