How important it is when we decide of our own free will, when we say for Jesus as well as the example of John

Jesus said to him: If I want him to stay until I come, what to you? Follow me.

John 21:22

How are the decisions we make on a daily basis, are they those that suit us? What is convenient for us? Here we see an example.

And Daniel proposed in his heart not to contaminate himself with the portion of the king's food, nor with the wine that he drank; He therefore asked the chief of the eunuchs not to be forced to contaminate himself.

Daniel 1: 8

We see in this picture that "Daniel proposed in his heart", this has nothing to do with his friends, although He and his friends were in the same conditions.

Later we see the difficult situation in which they were sent to the fiery furnace for not worshiping other gods, these young people "had proposed themselves in their hearts", As usual, it is seen that these young people had a total condition and not they calculated that if they did not deny the Lord they would be delivered.

Today our struggles are perhaps nothing compared to Daniel's.

Today we can decide how it should be, we have a recommendation

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, who uses the word of truth well.

2 Timothy 2:15

Here again Paul addresses young Timothy in a personal way: "You, seek diligently."

In these moments we can deduce that God motivates us to make a decision, of any kind and for which we are responsible for whatever it may be.

The call to decide is individual, not "if one does, I will also do it", the Lord wishes to deal with each one of us personally, do not forget it.

Thank you very much for sharing this reading, I hope that the Holy Spirit of God brings revelation of his word to our lives. (Remember that this does not happen without seeking it)
