Like a kick starter direct democracy proposal Dao...done with mail in and in person paper ballots like a regular US election, or local elections where we already vote yes or no on propositions BUT anyone should be able to submit a proposal over social media! Like hivedao let's youpostahiveblog

We shouldn't let city councils ever vote on funding anything when we can have 24 7 online direct democracy via blockchain and teleconferencing. In a perfect world you could vote for politicians over Twitter and turn tweets or reddit posts into blockchain dao proposals where CommetorsGetaCut

We already have yes or no proposition voting for local elections to say yes or no to funding various projects with taxes but that's all just after the fact... there should be more choices on how to spend our own money and social media should make it easy for anyone make a proposal

It's the process of getting on the ballot that sucks. The ballot itself should be online always changing never static ...unless there's a period where things lock in for a 48 hr in person voting period for example, but there should always be dynamic voting so people can be voted outatanytimeforexample

A blockchain proposal system would let us sift through all the small proposals but also let some smaller organicly popular proposals rise to the top....but we will have to stop people from gaming that system and from stealing proposal ideas etc haha there's a lot of problems but worthsolivng

I imagine the federal state or local proposal system at the end of the day all merged into one, many proposals working together coordinating large efforts minimizing waste and effectively governing via blockchain ID Powered DAO. The front-end will resemble kickstarter with top proposalsOrganizedByVotes

Imagine a government run kick starter type website where everyone logs in with a government real name id and can comment to earn points worth real money like hive/hbd, but the CBDC backed dollar will fund the big projects... but many smaller projects will blossom and create jobs

I don't think that this is the best solution, but I definitely agree that democracies around the world needs to "upgrade their software". The current system is easily hacked by populists

I think this is possible in the future, but seems impossible for now.

This kind of governance wouldn't be approved since it could turn into a "vote buying" scheme. Lobbyists would have a field day.
