Instead of uplifting the base game to a higher fidelity, Nintendo merely made the handheld version match the docked resolution, raising questions about why the game wasn't optimized for full resolution when docked in the first place.

Furthermore, the Jamberee TV mode remains at 1440p, and the base game’s resolution cap has only been increased from 720p to 1080p. This feels more like a half-hearted fix rather than a meaningful upgrade, and it underscores the larger issue of minimal effort behind so-called "upgrades."
