Bundling the old content with the add-ons and slapping a new label feels a bit cheeky. Sure, handheld got bumped to 1080p, but sharper pixels don’t make new boards magically appear. Did they tweak online lobbies or performance at all, or is it really just the same package with a glow-up?
Then it really is a new sticker on the same box. 1080p handheld is nice, but if the netcode, lobbies, and load times are unchanged, that’s not worth a full-priced “2.” Feels like a bundle for newcomers, not an upgrade for people who own the first. I’ll watch for patch notes or a teardown, but right now it’s a wait-and-see for me.
