Critics argue that for most players, buying the Switch 2 Edition provides little more than a slightly better resolution experience for a much higher price, making it an unwise investment. Many consider it a form of false advertising, where the upgrade is superficial at best, and the game remains essentially the same as the original, with a small resolution bump.
