Syllabus is based on a subscription model. Therefore posts etc can't be in the public domain, or they need to change their revenue model. But public chain can be used, when content is encrypted on the chain. Something HIVE doesn't support. Another way could be to evolve their service, by expanding their service with a website on which they present their teaser links and allow the possibility to comment. These comments could be powered by HIVE (see also: https://hive.blog/hive-173737/@edje/yzybtpbk). They may even use HIVE post for the teasers, either directly send into the HIVE chain, or using eg exxp service. The trick with onboarding these type of services is: 1) convince them to start adopting blockchains in one or the other way 2) when convinced, to help them to define the service 3) when service designed, to help them to integrate their technology with HIVE or whatever service at HIVE shall be integrated with (maybe with HIVE Engine, maybe with D.Buzz, who knows). Onboarding exisiting services basically means, consultive selling, providing support on all levels to convince the service owners, and then provide whatever support they need to get things done.
Clear regarding integration of DBuzz, but you are missing the point. The point I tried to bring across in two different sentences :)

All what I state above, is not to be handled by a individual. This requires team effort. Dedication of the team members. It requires dev work, integration work for which HIVE knowledgable dev's are needed (but none of those I talked with at HIVE, in Discord, in Telegram) wanted to do so.
Added to that: Onboarding a service like Syllabus with its subscription model, I don't see the need for DBuzz at the moment. When DBuzz can play a role, its just a piece in the total puzzle of a service for Syllabus involving the HIVE chain.

At some point in time, I'll just stop with trying to materialise my ideas for HIVE. Crypto focus, cool. But may not be the best way forward. Social networks need to increase a lot in active users, we need to collect those from the none-crypto side of our societies. To make it interesting for these users, is for social networks to not have too much crypto content, but maybe news services and journalist platforms from the none-crypto world. But yea, I'm not a C-level person here at HIVE which would allow me to steer HIVE ecosystem and participation and dev work such that, in my honest opinion, effective routes are choosen and the right roads are walked.
Anyways, if I ever come across something that is interesting for DBuzz, I'll let you know.

Hmmm, if you can onboard someone like Syllabus YOU are the one that should lead the iniative to onboard them.
What are the steps to onboarding them?
What resources do you need for it?
