Call for Help - HiveWatchers Nuked @NicolleFiallo for “Failure to Verify”
Since when did we need to verify identity to utilize the HIVE blockchain?
They say she is stealing identity & content, but even with just a little bit of due diligence, it’s clear she’s a real account

I can't deal with them.
They have become a problem a while ago, already.
Good luck :/
Abuse fighting on hive has been an ongoing effort from the launch.
I was shamed into it, myself.
If we let folks run amok here the ideal that launched the coin has failed.
This operant idea was personified in @hivewatchers.
Without hivewatchers staunching the outflow of the inflation to low effort posts this experiment in group governance fails.
I don't have much love for them myself, their bedside manner is abrasive, but my bedside manner can be, too, so I sympathize.
If you won't join the effort to make proof of brain a success, why are you here?
Are we supposed to tolerate anyone that acts against it?
Instead of resisting what 'the community' is telling you, why don't you join it and shape what we think?
Maybe make your own efforts to control the outflow that is the inflation pool?
I know people got to eat, but if you are powering down, you are not helping the price, and that needs to be looked at closer by us all, imo.
Folks that can't keep the golden goose alive don't have another one coming, iyam.
I'm certainly not powering down to move funds away from HIVE... my new goal in crypto is actually to power up enough hive to render HW operations obsolete (looking at $2-5M HIVE at this rate). I don't believe HW is "the community", they are simply a small group of authoritarians within the community. In fact, most of the people I've spoken to feel the same, and think they do more harm than good with the way they go about achieving their anti-spam goals.
As far as 'abuse' fighting, we have only one other group effort, hive downvote rewards, that I am aware of.
We tried incentivizing downvoting but our dev was taken out by life during the fork and hasn't made it back to complete the transition into the hive.
Do you downvote spam farms and plagiarists?
Follow any downvoting trails?
I definitely don't follow any downvote trails, and I definitely won't consider joining any. I am well aware that many innocent accounts get caught up in the crossfire of the anti-spam efforts, and I want no part of that.
As for spam farms, it's a debated topic.
My account @freedumbnews was flagged as a spam farm and now gets downvotes on any post.
It's a news curation project that I've been running on twitter since like 2010, but apparently that kind of content is not allowed here on HIVE (says the authoritarian post-police). In reality, embracing all types of content creation (even short form / link posting) is what's needed to take HIVE to greater heights.
Plagiarists on the other hand, deserve the DVs. Does @cheetah still go around flagging potential stolen content with comment links to the source? Haven't seen that cat around in a while.
Cheetah has withdrawn from the field, I understand she was very expensive to run.
I followed fdn, but that type of content was not popular here with the earliest adopters who saw the space as a long form blogging platform and twitter as mostly spam.
It is what it is.
It will be what we make of it.
I'm waiting for all the defi development to kick in.
Hive-engine is killing it with trading bots and diesel pools.
What would put all this posting drama on the back burner is somebody influential noticing that we have 3sec blocks, no fees, and a dedicated community of users and developers.
@jeffjagoe
You should have been blacklisted altogether when we blacklisted your shitpost spam farm that was trashing the blockchain and farming with hundreds of shit posts and refused to stop for months.
See what I mean @antisocialist? The authoritarian (not just authoritarian, but outright asshole) antics of HWs is seriously constricting HIVE’s potential to engulf the web and be more than just a blogging platform.
Lol, ouch.
HiveWatchers are nothing but bullies within this platform. Even in their discord they act like they are dictators.
Facts.
Definitely run by some of the biggest IRL losers on the blockchain.
I wouldn't call them losers. I think these guys have finally got the form of power from having a large stake in the ecosystem and are just having the biggest whto trip.
That's what I think. They don't like you dude. What did you do to them lol.
Yeah, this is the issue, and one I have presented to @guiltyparties @theycallmedan @starkerz and many others.
I didn't look into this case yet, but it wouldn't surprise me, not the 1st time

One of my new goals in crypto is to power up enough hive to render their operations irrelevant (need $2-5M at the moment)
Power up then, stop moving funds out :P
No funds are moving out, and plenty of HIVE will be powered up...
(my new goal in crypto is to power up enough HIVE to render HW obsolete, so we're lookin at $2-5M of HIVE at this rate lol)
Just workin' on stackin' some of that cheap POB to help make it happen :P
Well... like some others said in here: hivewatchers (or something similar) is kind of necessary. That type of job / position is attractive to certain personality types, though. It is a necessary evil, I'd say.
I quickly checked your wallet, saw some txs going out and assumed 73 rep should translate into more HP without cashing out. Perhaps my trades were better than I estimated, and I have gained a ton of HIVE that way...
ouch haha it has certainly been a grind to get to the 20+K. I rarely ever take HIVE off the platform (if I do, it's usually getting funneled into another HIVE-based project). In BTC investment terms, I may have actually put more BTC in than I can get out right now (made some poor STEEM investments back in the day).
I agree that bad-actors need to be dealt with. I just don't get along well with authoritarians (and that's what HW comes off as).
Are you looking again to make new friends so they can give you votes on your Qanon/flat-earth/plandemic-Covid hoax, and David Icke's reptilian-illuminati posts?
I'm not necessarily looking for new friends, and don't care about upvotes.
I was bringing the abuse of a supposed "abuse fighter" (You) to the attention of stakeholders effected by low user retention.
I often see you communicate in ways harm user retension.

He is obviously looking again to make new friends so they can give him votes on his delusional Qanon/flat-earth/plandemic-Covid hoax, and David Icke's reptilian-illuminati posts.
Thank you @jeffjagoe, for using the CO2 Compensation Coin (COCO / SWAP.COCO) on Steem-Engine or on Hive-Engine to reduce your CO2 footprint. You want to join? Buy some COCO / SWAP.COCO and transfer them to CO2Fund's account @co2fund.
Are you @jeffjagoe and/or @nicollefiallo in The Terminal discord server? If not, you should be. The whole purpose for them (or should I say the main one) is to help get answers for stuff like this.
Consider yourself invited
https://discord.gg/XZGPGpz
#TheTerminal might be able to help @jeffjagoe @nicollefiallo.
But again, I know exactly what you are talking about, a verification system should be built with tech, be optional, and not enforced w/force or coercion.

I'm the real chris and I don't need to show proof I am as you can just take my word for it. The other guy on another social media site using my name and photos are posers. This is the internet and you just gotta take my word for it.
I don't agree with how HiveWatchers work, but the only thing they can effect is the rewards, they can't prevent you from posting what you believe in.
I'm not saying they're "good." but they're not completely malicious. They give chances. If you're real, you'll find a compromise.

Two things:
Other front-ends hide posts that get a lot of downvotes.
@dbuzz is one of the only, if not the only major #HIVE platform that does not.
https://blog.d.buzz will use the same model.
I don't agree with your last statement, I agree w/everything else
Posted via D.Buzz
It's okay to disagree. I'm glad that DBuzz doesn't hide downvoted posts.
I didn't have examples to point to, but I thought there was other platforms that do this though. Ouch!
Posted via D.Buzz
Last I check:
All hide posts that receive a certain amount of downvotes, @threespeak doesn't hide videos though, so I guess they are the other one besides @dbuzz.
Posted via D.Buzz
Having said that, @dbuzz is one of the few platforms that does not hide posts that get a lot of downvotes.
With the same policy, #FreeSpeech is our user-case, earnings is extra, but I definitely know what you are talking about

They're not crying about censorship they're crying about the rewards lost and will continually lose if they don't comply with something as trivial as putting the word Hive on a profile page on some other site, have hivewatchers take a look and then confirm, remove the word Hive and be done with it.
