Thomas A. Edison’s got a point, doesn’t he? Dude basically shrugged off 10,000 flops and called it research. I mean, who does that? Most of us trip up once or twice and start questioning our entire life’s purpose, but Edison? Nah. To him, every single mess-up was just a box checked off—“Nope, not that way, let’s try another.” It’s actually kind of genius. Instead of seeing failure as this soul-crushing dead end, he turned it into a weird sort of scavenger hunt for the right answer. Stumble, get up, laugh a little, and keep moving. That’s how you invent lightbulbs… or, you know, just not lose your mind when stuff goes sideways.
