Questions on Hive?

1. Upvotes don't cost anything, but how does one donate money to a post?
2. What is SWAP.SWIFT?
3. In the HIVE keychain, I've realized I have 30 witness votes. What do those do and can you get more?
4. How do you make money on posts? Very confused.

Part 7

1. If they downvote, they think it should get less rewards. After 7 days from when you posted, the totals get counted and half the rewards go to you, and the other half go to those who upvoted for your post. You get Hive Power and HBD and the voters get HP.

1. You earn Hive and HBD when posts pay out after 7 days. For 7 days, your post gets voted up or down by people. The more stake that they have, the more your post can get rewarded. If they upvote your post, they think it should get more rewards.

1. Top 20 witnesses produce once a minute and one witness lower than 20 gets to produce a block once a minute. The more stake that's voting them though, the more they get to produce blocks.

1. You can view all witnesses at https://peakd.com/witnesses. The more stake that is voting for a witness, the more they get to produce blocks and earn a reward for doing so.

1. DBuzz run a witness and if you like what they are doing, voting for them would be a good choice. Do your research though and make sure that the witnesses you are voting align with your ideas as they get to determine what network upgrades get to take place.

1. You get to vote witnesses with them. They are the ones who secure our chain and produce each block. Since HIVE is DPOS witnesses are elected with your stake(hive power). You get to vote for up to 30 of them just like everyone else. You can't get more.

2. That's a Hive-engine token representing SWIFT. I don't know much about it.
