No the USA doesn't. Male circumcision is legal in all countries including the USA. While female circumcision is banned in most countries including the USA.
It's telling that you didn't know that circumcision is a form of genital mutilation or didn't make the connection.
To say it right away: male circumcision is equivalent to Type 1A female circumcision and yes, Type 1B to Type 3 are all far worse. I know that.
My point is: Type 1A is banned but male circumcision is not even true they are the same.

Interesting point and you are correct here. Mind you, I didn't mean it as an exclusive requirement. I very much prefer a single sexual assault law to cover all types of sexual assault.
Sounds like there may be hope for you yet. I thought about circumcision, and I do agree that it is genial mutilation. I left it alone because most people don't do it just to tear up their kid's dick, they wrongly believe that there are health benefits. Also, it's mostly a practice of only the Western world, as far as I know. Medical practice was only open to men when this belief in health benefits was impressed on people, but they could have been influenced by feminist lobbying... I have no idea. Some states in the US have looked at banning the practice on children, but I have no idea if they've made any progress. There's a lot of social stigma to overcome in the US, uncircumcised kids tend to get teased.
