I think you're right about the egret. My son suggested that yesterday. The beak threw me off...I thought it was short. But now I look closely and see that it is long.

Yes, I was going to see it looks like an egret as well. They have very long necks, but they bunch them up when they sit in the trees. It could be a snowy egret or cattle egret.

That's exactly what my son said...the bird is tucking his neck in.
I did have fun, and my husband liked the place. Hurt his leg, but he was glad he went.
