Empty cities
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Today I share with you my latest work in mixed media, watercolor and acrylic on paper. This is my personal vision of the city of New York, imagined before the events of 11 September 2001.
I also connected two other works related to the concept of empty cities, that is, without a sense of humanity that in recent times seems to hover around inside the empty streets and our consciences. Covid was the last signal that nature was able to transmit to us through the little it can communicate to us to survive.
Signals that are similar to terrorist attacks but that we regularly ignore, because we are not very receptive to the planet.
For the first time in human history we are faced with catastrophic scenarios of which we ourselves are the matrix.
It is not a question of world wars in which man is against man, but of much deeper devastation that will change lifestyles and the natural course of the planet's rhythms.
I can contribute as an artist and teacher, but my field of action is limited.

Città vuote
Ciao a tutti e ben tornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido con voi il mio ultimo lavoro a tecnica mista, acquarello e acrilico su carta. Si tratta di una mia personale visione della città di New York, immaginata prima dei fatti dell'11 settembre 2001.
Ho collegato anche altri due lavori legati al concetto di città vuote, cioè prive di un senso di umanità che negli ultimi tempi sembra aleggiare intorno dentro le strade vuote e le nostre coscienze.
Il Covid è stato l'ultimo segnale che la natura ci ha potuto trasmettere attraverso quel poco che riesce a comunicarci per sopravvivere.
Segnali che sono simili ad attentati terroristici ma che puntualmente noi ignoriamo, perchè siamo poco ricettivi verso il pianeta. Per la prima volta nella storia dell'uomo siamo di fronte a scenari catastrofici di cui siamo noi stessi la matrice.
Non si tratta di guerre mondiali in cui l'uomo è contro l'uomo, ma di devastazioni molto più profonde che andranno a cambiare gli stili di vita e il corso naturale dei ritmi del pianeta.
Io posso dare il mio contributo come artista e insegnante, ma il mio campo di azione è limitato.
