Inhabited by the gods - watercolors on paper
Hello everyone dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a watercolor work of mine that I had started a few months ago and completed yesterday. It is a surreal landscape dominated by an ancient columned temple overlooking a stretch of lake.
I took great care of the trees, very twisted oak trees without a leaf, as if they were dead. The branches of the trees also appear in the sky that I left open to the horizon from where a warm light comes in.
I painted the sky as if it wanted to be a transfiguration of the deities that inhabit it along with the landscape.

Abitato dagli dei - acquarelli su carta
Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido un mio lavoro ad acquarello che avevo iniziato qualche mese fa e ieri ho portato al termine. Si tratta di un paesaggio surreale in cui domina un antico tempio a colonne che si affaccia su un tratto di lago. Ho molto curato gli alberi, delle quercie molto contorte e senza una foglia, come se fossero morte. I rami degli alberi appaiono anche nel cielo che ho lasciato aperto all'orizzonte da dove arriva una luce calda. Ho dipinto il cielo come se volesse essere la trasfigurazione delle divinità che lo abitano insieme al paesaggio. Spero che il mio acquarello vi piaccia, vi lascio gli steps del processo creativo ed un abbraccio di quercia.
