Wrecks of Rust - watercolor on paper with creative process and photographs
Hello everyone dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog.
I finally finished it!
A watercolor that I had started during my excursion to a Greek island, Kythira. I came across a couple of abandoned cars, but the most interesting one was a three-wheeled moped.
A marvel!
The vehicle is certainly 50 years old and the rust has practically colored it again.
The fascination of decadence stimulated me to portray this natural phenomenon hehe. So I started the difficult portrait on the spot and slowly finished it in my studio.
Of course I interpreted it to my pleasure, giving space to nature that is slowly eating it all. Nature always takes back the space we occupy and I very much hope that it will be able to take over us, definitively.

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e ben tornati sul mio blog.
Finalmente l'ho terminato!
Un acquarello che avevo iniziato duarante una mia escursione su un isola greca, Kythira. Mi sono imbattuto in un paio di autoveicoli abbandonati, ma quello più interessante è stato un ciclomotore a tre ruote.
Una maraviglia!
Il veicolo risale sicuramente a 50 anni fa e la ruggine lo ha praticamente colorato di nuovo. Il fascino della decadenza mi ha stimolato a ritrarre questo fenomeno naturale eheh. Così ho iniziato sul posto il difficile ritratto e piano piano l'ho terminato nel mio studio.
Naturalmente l'ho interpretato a mio piacere, dando spazio alla natura che lentamente se lo sta mangiando tutto. La natura si riprende sempre lo spazio che occupiamo e spero tanto che riesca a prendere il sopravvento su di noi, definitivamente.
