It was raining the whole morning and I needed a mouse; an electronic mouse, not a furry one made of a bit of flesh and tiny bones.

Hidden in plain sight among the mice shown in this opening shot there is the one I bought a few hours ago. I'll give you a juicy upvote and a smile if you guess the right mouse.

The mice shown in the previous photograph were displayed in the electronics department of a large store in the suburban part of Pula. The name of the store is Pevex and here you can see part of its front facade and a few cars parked not far from the entrance.

Before buying the mouse, I decided to ramble a bit around the store and take a few shots of its interior. Whatever I do lately, and by lately I mean in the last four of five years, I always have a potential post in mind.
In the above photograph, you can see the large hall that looks like some kind of hotel lobby near the entrance. I was standing very close to the sliding door when this shot was taken.

Here you can see a nice collection of rounded ceiling lights. I mean, mostly rounded. All but one look like illuminated dishes or something.

The part of the store that hosts lights, lamps, and chandeliers is very photogenic and there is a certain retro Scy-Fy feel and charm to it.

From now on, one thing will be indisputable: in Istria, Pevex attaches a lot more importance to cleanliness than it does in Karlovac or Zagreb. Everything seems more sterile than in hospital. Are you even allowed to go between the shelves without wearing a face mask and gloves? 😮
We can do whatever we want in that store, with or without the mask and gloves,but...😂 but most of us always feel dirty and unworthy there. 😀 I always feel like an old-fashioned, muddy rural pig in the beauty parlor while exploring the Pevex world.
I'm feeling a kind of euphoria at the moment. It's an entirely new approach to the shopping experience. I've never started a venture like this with so much awe. 😮
At 08:00 today, I have an appointment for acupuncture at the Karlovac Clinical Centre. Immediately afterwards, I'm off to Konzum. Then I'm going straight to Pevex. I am very excited! 😳
Maybe I'll be able to take the feeling of being an “unworthy consumer” with me to Deichmann? 🤓

This is a very big and beautiful shop. Just like they sell almost everything. I love the outlay, the space and then the neatly arranged merchandise on shelves. All so attractive and would make you want to buy something.... Hahaha.

It was a cheap mouse. A little less than 4 EUR.
