I BROKE THE NEW SCULPTURE 💩
Hello dear friends,
I did the damage!!!!
I broke one of my sculptures for the first time in my life!
Let me explain what happened: I didn't buy the alabaster I got in Italy, but I got it from the field since Vittoria's mom's husband had recovered them and already prepared them for us.
So I knew I was risking for the veins inside, but instead of just working with files and Dremel I wanted to take the risk to sculpt it since so far it has always gone well.... and it was a bad idea 😂
Actually I could reattach it and pretend nothing happened, but it's not the right way for a professional sculptor, especially when a 'work has just begun ... so I will start from the split head to transform the work into something else, but not now!
For the 'exhibition now it has no sense as artwork, and so I put it aside, continuing with the works to be finished.
And when I finish it all I can buy another alabaster in Vienna, and try to get it right in time.

Ho rotto la scultura per la prima volta in vita mia!
Vi spiego cosa é successo: l' alabastro che ho preso in Italia non l' ho comprato, ma l' ho preso dal campo siccome il marito della mamma di Vittoria li aveva recuperati e giá preparati per noi.
Perció sapevo che stavo rischiando per le vene che aveva, ma io invece di lavorare soltanto con le lime e Dremel ho voluto rischiare di scolpirla siccome finora mi é sempre andata bene.... ed é andata male 😂
In veritá potrei riattacarlo e far finta di niente, ma non é da scultore professionale, soprattutto quando un' opera é appena iniziata... sicché partiró dalla testa spaccata per trasformare l'opera in qualcos' altro, ma non adesso!
Per l' esposizione non va piú bene, e perció l' ho messa da parte, continuando con le opere da finire.
Quando poi avró finito tutto potró comprare un altro alabastro a Vienna, e provare ad arrivare a buon punto.
However it's not a drama and I will have a nice Sunday anyway.

Diciamo che non ho ancora quella definitiva, per questo l' ho messa un attimo da parte...peró la troveró con calma piú in lá 😅

Mi spiace, guarda😣. Se non altro, da quanto ho capito, avevi messo in conto che poteva succedere (vista la qualità del materiale tutt'altro che alabastro di Vienna), quindi niente di chissà quali aspettative (le aspettative sono la vera rovina dell'umanità:
e prima ce ne rendiamo conto, meglio per noi...😂)
