I was thinking about going to my local Parkrun but decided against it. With my still slightly dodgy eyesight, I can't drive at the moment and that means my wife driving me to get to the Parkrun location. It was well below zero degrees so I thought I would give her a break.
Instead, I waited for it to warm up a bit and went out running locally. It was still only just 0 C but was better than what it was.
There was still a lot of ground frost particularly in the shade but the sky was blue and the air was lovely and fresh. I just needed to be careful of the black ice. Especially with my dodgy eyesight.
I took it slowly as you can see from below, only picking up a little more pace on the flat wide path along the river.
