Wczoraj miałem długi i męczący dzień. Rano zawiozłem córkę na pociąg, a kiedy wróciłem, to od razu wyszedłem pobiegać. Później nie miałbym na to szans, gdyż czekała mnie jeszcze wyprawa do Brukseli, a wieczorem nocna zmiana. Bieg w dość spokojnym tempie, tym razem metę ustawiłem na piątym kilometrze. Nie po raz pierwszy zwróciłem uwagę, na to, że ostatni kilometr biegnę szybciej. Nie jest to podyktowane jakąś chęcią sprawdzenia się, raczej chcę mieć to jak najszybciej z głowy. Wczoraj było podobnie, cztery kilometry spokojnie, a piąty szybciej. W planach mam wydłużenie dystansu do sześciu kilometrów, ale nie wiem, kiedy to nastąpi.

[ENG] I had a long and tiring day yesterday. I drove my daughter to the train in the morning and went for a run as soon as I got back. I wouldn't have had a chance to do it afterwards as I had a trip to Brussels and a night shift in the evening. This time I ran at a fairly relaxed pace and finished at five kilometres. Not for the first time I noticed that I was running faster in the last kilometre. This is not because I want to test myself, but because I want to get it over with as quickly as possible. Yesterday was similar, four kilometres easy and the fifth faster. My plan is to increase the distance to six kilometres, but I don't know when that will happen.

W niedzielę, kiedy wróciłem z pracy, żona ze łzami w oczach zaczęła narzekać na bolące plecy, ponieważ już dwukrotnie szukaliśmy ratunku u lekarza pierwszego kontaktu, to tym razem czas najwyższy zgłosić się do specjalisty. Znalazłem lekarza w Brukseli z wolnym terminem w poniedziałek na 15. Ta godzina była stosunkowo bezpieczna, jeżeli chodzi o dojazd i wyjazd z okolic centrum Brukseli, bo godziny szczytu zwykle zaczynają się około 17. Zapomniałem, o jednym małym szczególe, wczoraj o 18 grała Belgia i najwidoczniej wiele firm zwolniło pracowników odpowiednio wcześniej, żeby mogli wrócić do domu na czas, a my w drodze powrotnej załapaliśmy się na popołudniowe korki. Do Mons wróciliśmy w ostatnim momencie, żeby zdążył coś zjeść i jechać do pracy.

[ENG] When I came home from work on Sunday, my wife was in tears complaining about her back, which we had already tried to save twice at the family doctor's. This time it was high time to see a specialist. I found a doctor in Brussels with a free appointment for Monday at 3pm, which was a relatively safe time to get in and out of the centre of Brussels, as the rush hour usually starts around 5pm. I forgot, one small detail, Belgium was playing at 6pm yesterday and apparently many companies had dismissed their staff early enough to get home on time, and we got caught in the afternoon traffic on the way back. We got back to Mons at the last minute, so we had time to eat and get to work.
