Její pozemská pouť byla náhle a nekompromisně ukončena uprostřed procházky lesem.
Jako vzpomínky už zbyly jen fotografie.

A jak to pro ní mohlo být lepší? Na procházce, v lese, vlastně z plného zdraví ... Tchánovi pošel pes na Mikuláše. Bylo mu sedmnáct. Poslední dva roky už asi nevěděl ani, že je pes. Točil se v pravotočivých kruzích, počůrával se, ven už cestu nenašel. Žral, to jo, nekňučel. Já bych ho utratit dal. Ale tchán nechtěl. Byl jeho ... Dalšího už nechce. Tchánovi bylo 78.

Pro ni to byl opravdu ten nejlepší konec.
Byl jsem jen profesionální venčič. Sofie byla ženy. Jestli si ještě bude chtít něco pořídit nechám na ni.

So very sorry to hear about Sofie, she was a beautiful dog. Pets just don't live long enough. Having them is of course worth it, but the end is always so terrible. It doesn't make it any easier, but at least she was doing something I'm sure she loved.

It's sad, but that's life. She was taken while doing what she loved. Probably the best "departure" she could have asked for.
