I spent my morning before I opened the clinic climbing up and getting screws screwed into the wall to hang this neon type βeyeballβ light on. Then I had to rearrange some electrical to get it plugged in. The doc picked up the light at a local home store and couldnβt resist. I asked him for a couple of things so I could hook it up electrically and this is the end result. I like it!
I saw this little guy hanging out on a plant outside the restaurant next door to the clinic as I came to work. I like the stripes on his antenna ππ
Today, I had a crazy phone call with a patientβs wife who was bent out on of shape over his paying $45 for a contact lens fitting. Too much to go into details but people are on the edge when it comes to anything they think their insurance should pay for but didnβt. She was a bit unreasonable. πππ
Today was the day Rawls tree π³ service was due to come out and take out a tree π³ for Jan and one for us. They ended up taking out 3 of hers and just our one. These pics are from our place looking towards theirs as the guys worked. They also saved a nest of baby squirrels πΏ in that tree and relocated them. How sweet!
This was a BIG tree that weβre guessing was 80β or more tall! π³
These guys go up the tree π³ to cut it down in sections. He told @silvertop that this tree was rotten in the middle and he was concerned about the climb. Fortunately everything worked out okay.

I "Love" the Eyeball Light! Kinda Cool, and "One of a kind"!
The tree thing (after living here...) is a bit beyond imagination! The only thing anyone is climbing that high would maybe be a Windmill!
I haven't seen a tree that tall in decades!

Thank you @lesmann! You should see the cedar tree in our front of the house! It is over 500 years old and I can't even begin to guess how tall it is! It was a seedling when Christopher Columbus discovered America! Crazy, right?!

I am tired already looking at them!
We have lots and lots of trees where town is. They use cranes and most of the time they are in secure footing, standing up on a platform. They no longer climb trees.
