Coffee….tea…..or pink flamingos?!
I needed to do an Amazon return today. Unfortunately, the place they have you go is all the way in Bellingham. So, since @silvertop needed to look for a source of ‘drain rock’ we set out Lynden way first and worked our way towards Bellingham, looking for any place where they might sell materials.
We were going to check out a place but beforehand, I suggested getting a coffee for extra energy. We stopped by the local Wood’s coffee shop. While there, I took a pic of the hallway headed towards the restrooms.
Then we headed to My Nursery, a local greenhouse, hoping to find the rock he needed. We didn’t, but we found a whole lot of other things! 😁
A new and improved version of Big Foot.
That pic is for you, @silversaver888! They have many of these pink flamingos, however the store’s trademark image is a purple flamingo! They are everywhere at the entrance including a giant purple flamingo that is about 20-25’ tall.
A cedar tree cactus. Surely that’s an oxymoron, lol! 🤣
I got some plants to start an herb container garden. We unfortunately never did find an economical place to get the drain rock. 😔
Tomorrow’s another day. I’m tired, but looking forward to dinner tonight as I’m making homemade Reuben sandwiches. Yum!
Oh- my knee is doing good despite yesterday’s crash and burn on the church steps. 😏 @silvertop is threatening to wrap me in bubble wrap, lol!
