Happy Sunday everybody!
The day started out at church. It was a Spirit filled worship and sermon. The only blip on the horizon was that a good friend of mine’s granddaughter committed suicide last night. She was just 21. So sad. Having been touched by suicide in my family, I know all about the unanswered questions that she has-that their whole family will have. Most of if not all of which they will never get an answer to. Please, please if you’re feeling that way or if you suspect someone of feeling that way-reach out to someone. Life is really worth living despite any hardships you might encounter and everything can be overcome with love.
Around mid afternoon we headed out for a hike. Jan came with. We knew we were just going up to the pond as it was so late when we started and being caught in the forest at night is not a good thing! Ironically, I did not take any pics while we were out. So instead, I have a couple from yesterday’s hike to share.
The water was so crystal clear! This is just a shot straight down into the water from the boardwalk. The sun made shimmery gold squiggles. It was really pretty!
Last night, Cot and Cyle had picked places around the wood stove to bake. Cot got the glass view of the fire within. 😸

That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow brings two calls for the software training I’m working on. It’s smack dab in the middle of the day 😏 Oh well….

Good day my dearest friend, happy Sunday to you too. Is quite unfortunate that she took her life, but what else can we do when she is already gone 🤔🤔🤔. Nothing more precious than life itself, when there is life, there is always a hope for better tomorrow. There is one song my parents love singing when I was tender, they do sing it when it looks as if things are rough. The song is, "Because he lives, I can face tomorrow, because he lives all fear is gone, because I know oo oo he hold my feature, my life is what I'm living just because he lives."

You are right; there is nothing we can do but give it to God. My brother committed suicide back in 2019 as did a very good friend of ours later that same year. Both had circumstances that neither one could see a way out of. It's just sad; leaves so many with unanswered questions.
Pray for peace and comfort for their family as they face this trying time.

So sad to hear about your friend's granddaughter suicide 😭. It really hurt . If you can extend my condolences to them, please condole them with the beautiful words of Revelation 21:4 where God promised to clean all our tears, pain and sorrow and above all death.
