Hey everybody! I took this first picture at a distance as I wanted to get the contrast of greens. The weeping willow looked almost fluorescent in comparison. Just as we approached the area, out came Ruby! She’s our neighbor’s dog who is in constant motion! The rear end is not connected to the front end making her appear articulated when she runs! And runs, she does! She cannot be still!
She doesn’t know a stranger and runs around you in circles until she squats like a rat waiting for you to play.
She’s a silly girl for sure!
This morning before we set out for a hike, @silvertop got the stilettos removed from the car (aka studded snow tires). Zuki was very happy as was I as I felt a bit silly with the clicking sound they produce. The law requires them to be off by April 1st anyway.
While he did that, I made space for the new air fryer. I’m going to try it tonight. You may remember my post from Wednesday last week about the rain soaked boxes USPS left.
I also did a little reorganization of the food pantry. I didn’t go through the whole thing and heaven knows it needs it! Another project for another day.
We hiked up to the off grid cabin and back. I found quite the assortment of things to photograph.
The Giant Snake Grass has finally reared its head. They are quite unique.

Tomorrow is Easter. Our church is having 3 services. I’m looking forward to attending one of them. ✝️
