I once wrote a song about that very thing! Come down to the river! Yes, today after church, the church body headed to Riverside Park for 6 baptisms in the Nooksack River. Now, if you know anything about this area, the Nooksack River begins up Mt. Baker way. The snowmelt as well as various creeks and streams are what fuels it. Being as it’s April, that water is around 46 degrees Fahrenheit! 🥶🥶🥶

There was a teenager who braved it.
A father and his two daughters braved it as well. Their mom went in to help. It was a family affair! 😇
The youngest looked like she was going to freeze to death. 🥶
It was lovely to watch for sure, but I’d be thinking summertime would be better!😁 I just hope everyone stays healthy after.
Of course, I love to walk and look at things down by the river.
